"Other: TygerNight for showing me just how not to act if I wanna make it here. Never spoke to him personally, but his 'inspiration' is EVERYWHERE!" 5- I have a bank account that would allow me to beat your snivelling little ass into the ground without breaking an economic sweat, should it come into my mind to do so. I'm just gonna ignore most of the crap there. But, just make sure if you get in your mind to do so anytime soon that you know...he IS in my student halls now. *smiles* Personally, I hope he -does- intend on learning from you how -not- to behave. I got enough trouble with Kaio

I got enough trouble with Kaio I'm glad he is your student now LadyP, but tell me, they don't have to earn their powers? He has suction too this fast? I mean he is cute and all, but it's just hard to have respect for someone who doesn't work for what they have. Please correct me if I'm wrong, and I hope I am.

Well, Getting funds for the early powers has never been an issue for me... Getting to keep my BP level over one hundred was a bigger one.
Call it luck or bad luck, but I always encountered enough hunters to pay for the early and cheap level 1 or 2 powers. Shadows and Thievery 3 also are relatively cheap. What took me the longes was to avoid hunters long enough to reach the blood level that is required for stamina 3.
At first, one needs much money (though not that much, actually) and less BP. It's a lot of hard work to get out several times a night, always keeping enough APs for a hunter chase, but it is so rewarding moneywise...
So, I would say that getting thievery 3 and suction is easy. All it takes is 25K, which is reachable in one month.

What I'm questioning is the energy a pire as young as he is has, to do that in one or even three days. 4 powers that quick? I agree about the cost coinwise.

I agree about the cost coinwise. *shakes head* Start with going for the suction quests, then just go to the three thieve's guilds. I could do that in barely one day with sprints. It IS feasible, yet it IS requiring a huge amount of dedication (and a little luck in the guild's location). If he were to get fully powered by next week, then I would ask who donated ;D. For now he seems to me to be just an active and dedicated vampire with proper teachers. If I remember correctly, I started with getting Cel1 & Cel2, and by the end of my first month I had Cel3, suction and Stamina1. When I was offered second sight, it was much later, and I chose to get locate1, because the quest just sucks, it is long as hell, and I didn't want to get through that. Remember that at that time, perception didn't exist, nor sprint potions, so were I to try today, I think I could do even better. I remember I must have hit a hunter every other day or the like. It pissed me at first, but I quickly realised that they were worth it . Wait and see...

I think I had about that many powers in a month. What I wanna know is why the hell didn't he get the accompanying Shadows with each level of Thievery? What a waste of time to have to go back and do that later. *tsks*
But yes, I know that everyone does things differently, not trying to incite an argument, just throwing it out there.

Well done Coquette. Very entertaining.
Mav, you're not boring at all!
And as for how my childe has gotten his powers, good fucking gods above. I persistantly beat him until he has the ap for a good sprint or two. He runs to the guild, snags the knowlege and moves the fuck on. Never forget, we all had powers that were easier to gain. After all, I did Celerity 1-3 in a day. Theivery in three weeks and Suction too isn't that mind blowing. And if you find it as such, I'm sure he'll take it as a major compliment that you waste your time SSing a...what were the words you used..."worthless little boy who doesn't have the stones".
However...it is ill-advised to cross P. I wouldn't make her angry if I were you. But then again...I've proven time and time again that I am NOT you under any stretch of a delusional imagination. So kindly, retract the claws. He did this interview by himself with no input from me.
Think on that a moment. If he noticed that all on his own...Well...what does that say about you?
*cackles from behind her keyboard again and skitters off to make Vyper get yet another power*

Ferry do not give out coins for powers to the students, Wynd. There are ways for a student to EARN them, but in this case Vyper did get them himself. A month, I agree, is not so mind blowing to achieve 3 powers worth of coin. He works hard and jumped right into things the moment he stepped foot into the clan, so I can quite easily see him doing so about the city as well.

Let me point out as well that Vyper's interview was done approximately 2 weeks ago and he has had plenty of time to get his powers. Miss Mav here procrastinated. So please do not assume his interview was done yesterday and that he magically popped up with the three other powers overnight, as it is not the case. (Date of PM from inbox: Jan 2, 2009, 2:20pm) I do appreciate that everyone seems to like this feature. I'll probably pop up with one at random intervals.

I just can't stop laughing enough how you, Tyger, of all people, would get -that- worked up. Over one measly sentence. I would have thought you'd take it as a compliment that you were mentioned for your anarchical ways. But..you just threw a tantrum.
And seriously? I mean, be upset about it, but don't try and be like "Oh. You didn't get your powers by yourself." Who are you to say it? And do you have proof of it? It only takes 17k to get Thievery 1-3. Which can be easily done if Vyper actually utilized the sources around him.
Oh my gawd, someone actually using information that's been provided for us freely to better themselves?
Holy shit! That's unheard of.
Give me a motherfuckin break. As I said, great interview, Roomie, can't wait until the next edition comes out.
