Is it possible to add some coding so that when something new is posted to a thread it moves to the top of the line? Same for new threads?

It does.
Adding: Except for the things that are pinned. Pinned things go to the top.

I think she means posts to threads, as in you'd be reading a thread backward in relation to how it currently goes.

Well for example, when someone posts to Banners by Us! I have to actually scroll down, look for that thread and then go into it. Hence my asking if there was a way to code it so when an old thread gets posted to, said thread rises to the top rather, so that newer threads/comments are above and older fall below. Another tiny example would be, yeah I know I could pay closer attention, but i started a thread on the Blog conversation without realizing that there was already one going, because the new thread did not rise to the top. Did I say that right?

Ah, so it's a case of far too many sticky posts in the OOC section.

Do you mean a button that would take you straight to the new post in that thread? >.> If so here is the code for the admins. <script type="text/javascript"> <!-- // Jumps to most recent post in thread. // By Todge.
if(document.location.href.match('board=')&&!document.location.href.match('action=')) { var boards = document.getElementsByTagName('td'); for(b=0; b<boards.length; b++) { if(boards[b].width.match(/4(3|8)/)&&boards[b].className=='windowbg') { if(boards[b].firstChild.nodeName=='A') { boards[b].onclick=function(){document.location.href=this.firstChild.href; this.getElementsByTagName('a')[1].href=this.firstChild.href;} } else { boards[b].onclick=boards[b+4].onclick; var click=new String(boards[b+4].onclick); if(document.all) { boards[b].getElementsByTagName('a')[0].href=click.split("'")[1]; } else { boards[b].getElementsByTagName('a')[0].href=click.split('"')[1]; } } } } } //--> </script> It wold go into the Global Footer and there is no editing needed. And if its not...this is still a very helpful code. >.> *is a geek; leave him be*

;x I prefer HTML over Java. I wish the board used HTML and not BBCode. HTML = so much easier.
