Our (belated, sorry! I forgot about this!) next installment...
King Lestat!
1. How long have you been in the City?
5 years as of last September.
2. What powers do you have? (Both in-game and otherwise)
I have all those city powers, as well as flight, pyrokinesis, telekinesis, out-of-body and possession.
3. Have you ever been clanned? If so, please provide a list of clan names and your position and length of time in each.
Yes, three times. I was in Seraphim for 6 months as a Warrior, and in Scions for most of it's tenor in this city (2.5 years) as a warrior for about 6 months, then 2iC for almost two years until finally taking hold of the clan in full for...not very long. And now I lead L'inconnu with Lyric and Legion (If you'd like to join! Please PM me)
4. How many wars have you participated in?
Holy shit...um, There was Seraphim v Capadocious, Mafia v Majica & HA, and...Scions v D'dary. (Currently in conflict against HA, Craps, and others.)
5. Have you ever been zeroed? If so, by whom and how many times?
I've been zeroed twice, each in different 'bodies,' if you will. Once by Cap/Ferry/HoH as my majesty, and once by the D'darys (woppin' 614 pints) as my saintliness (watch out, John Paul)
6. How did you come into the City?
I came to the city looking for something new, a break from the same old drama of the vampires I'd grown up around. Man, did I ever not get what I was looking for. But, I stayed, as we all have stayed, and remained a master vampire for a good two years.
7. Who do you consider your greatest inspirations, mentors, and friends?
Murrz Ramirez was my first mentor, he taught me everything to do with the mechanics of the cities weaponry. As for inspiration, well I was first inspired to be better the first time I faced off against Sartori in Seraphim-Cap. He was my first live opponent, and I walked out thinking "Wow, that's what live fighting's like?" and of course went on to study it without end. And my friends, well my best friend is my partner, Lyric. Her, my childer, and my clan are both my friends, and my mentors, teaching me new things every day. That's what friends are for, right?
8. What do you think your greatest accomplishments are in the City so far?
If you ask most people, probably being smote. I was a big red flag for everyone to knock off with the grab ass, before a major wash of smitings. But I would have to say my greatest accomplishment is bettering myself after or during every fight I have, and meeting all the people I've met. I don't regret anything I've done in my time here.
9. How about partners, lovers, or relationships? (For the older pire, how do you suggest meeting the right person for you, for younger, how did you meet your partner or lover?)
Fuck...I've been bound nine times. Ninth times the charm, eh? My best advice would be to always learn something after a relationship fails. And you WILL fail at least once. Those that are married for the first time, look to your partner. You won't be with him/her forever. So learn what went wrong. Don't blame them for your problems, or yourself for theirs. There is no one to blame, really. Only lessons to be learned. Do you happen to get stagnate around month 2? Maybe don't push so hard to see your partner every waking moment next time, and go on refreshing dates. It's different for everyone. As for my current, and final, Lyric has been my best friend for three years now, and I'm very, very lucky to have her there by my side.
10. How many sires have you had? (For older pires, how do you suggest finding the right sire for you? For younger, how did you meet your sire, if applicable?)
Three. Murrz for 2 years, Sartori for a week (bint), and Andre for a month (bigger bint). Go for the sire that is your best friend. Yes, those ones do work. If your sire just so happens to be in your clan or whatever, that works too. But if you want them to last, you have to get along and not have a 5 minute conversation, then wind up wandering off due to boredom.
11. For older pires-- what do you suggest to new pires looking to find their way in the City? Give us your best gem of advice.
Learn. Every single older pire has done their best to put forth information into your hands, so use it. Ask questions, read databases and documents, use those funky little calculators out there ad nauseum. Memorise and internalise everything so that when it comes time for you to stand on you're own, you're ready. And never, ever blame others for your mistakes. There's a whole lot more honour in realising you fucked up and admitting to it.
12. Anything else to add for the readers who are “Taking a Bite” out of you?
Yes, Viva la WRBC.
Next.. Kent Williams!
