I don't know if any of you pay much attention to the city inferstructure, but just lately I have been, and I've noticed some anomalies. Figure 1.01 For example, the transits. How inefficient can you get? As shown in figure 1.01, the transits occupy 9 spots on an interlocking grid surrounding the city centre. However, this leaves a lot to be desired in regards to distance travel when one is located on the extremities. In truth, if you are inside the grid it's highly effective. No more than 12.5 blocks from a transit maximum. Outside, however, it's a different story as the distance can go up to 25 blocks. Somewhat of a bitch to run, especially when you are say, in a hurry to get to the opposite corner of the city. The best way to designate transport in the city would be to divide it up into 9 equal sections (Figure 1.02) and place a transit station in the center of each. Figure 1.02 As above, the prime locations of these transits would be the following: Callope: Ivy 17th Cilo: Zekovia 17th Erato: Quartz 17th Euterpe: Ivy 50th Melepomene: Zekovia 50th Polyhymnia: Quartz 50th Terpishore: Ivy 83rd Thalia: Zekovia 83rd Urina: Quartz 83rd Now sure, it's realistic enough to argue that having a more compact city centre is reasonable because more people frequent it, I still find my locations better all around. It certinally helps those on the fringes to journey around.

It would be dull if everything where made to make everything easier. Easier usually means dull. I know it's just having a little bit further to go... but it all adds up right? But yeah, it was shoddy planning. >.>

I dunno... I wouldn't change anything, really. Those locations are good for war. Especially since I have a knack for displacing myself to the limits.

Those locations are fine. If it's a bit difficult to maneuver from time to time, thus is the nature of things. And one can always purchase sprints to maximize movement for minimum energy levels

I think you should send your proposal to Raven. It’s well thought out, and mapped and the idea behind the presentation of locations is sound.
You can’t know until you try. Instead of saying in a newspaper, without any hope for recourse or feedback on feasibility. How about taking the steps to see if you can beneficially change our city for the greater good. Put your proposal into clear and concise terms and send them to the place where it may do the most good.
To the dude at the top.
You just never know. Keeping the status quo isn’t always the best option and there’s no reason why change can not be embraced. Of course, my café won’t have a readily accessible transit but what the hell.
Those that travel there will find a way to get there.
Dude, Pheeps, embrace change..... it aint that bad. And while you're at it. Get better shoes. *smirk*
