I honestly cannot believe I am doing this, but here goes, I suppose. I am looking for a decent sire who is willing to help me start out and to show me the ropes, so to speak. I have had a few offers, but I am fairly certain that the only actually desirable one has expired. I am hardworking and loyal, and I am not the sort to get myself in trouble by running my mouth. I am reserved and unfailingly polite. I am, however, painfully shy. This has been my greatest problem in meeting people thus far, as I am loathe to approach anyone and can get nervous if someone approaches me in the wrong manner. I am exceedingly accepting, though, and will tolerate with utter politeness any personality type so long as I am not being threatened.
My current stats: You have drunk 923 pints of blood. Powers: Shadows(2) Thievery(2) You are sire to no other vampires. You are a master vampire, with no sire.
As far as a sire goes, I'm looking for someone who will be tolerant of me as I'm still rather new to the city; someone who will be patient as I find my way around. At the same time, though, I do not want someone who merely sits back and allows me to go on my own. I ask not for protection, but I do ask for guidance. I am seeking someone willing to push me to achieve my full potential in the city. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration. Most sincerely, Odette Lile O'Shea

Have you considered seeking a clan for guidance? Most clans would probably take you and help to teach you. If not, I'd be open to the idea of siring you, once I'd gotten to know you.
Feel free to contact me on my cell (Y!M) - "demosthenes607"

I'd suggest that you speak to those who know more about the city and seek guidance from them (or indeed a clan). A sire isn't necessary in order for you to learn, and should you take one, it should be somebody you trust to guide you in many directions, rather than somebody who snatched you up from the papers as a trophy childe. I can offer you help in regards to powers if you need it, finding me isn't too hard. I'm like a rat. (vera.night)

I feel like I ought to get a bit more powerful first. Thank you for your offer, and I'll be sure to contact you regarding it. And, um...Mr. Key...I'm not sure I understood that comment, but I don't believe I want to.

Oh, Miss Vera. I apologize; I hadn't caught your reply until after I'd posted. Thank you, miss. I'll consider your advice.

In most respects, I would have to agree with Vera. Clans can be overwhelming but they also bring a sense of community (and drama!) that is essential for beginners to give them a taste of what the city is like.
If you have any questions, though, feel free to call: xdarkenedxangelx
Good luck, hun.

I'm afraid that I might be swallowed up by a clan, sir. But...perhaps I will consider it, if not right away. I feel like I ought to get a bit more powerful first. Thank you for your offer, and I'll be sure to contact you regarding it. And, um...Mr. Key...I'm not sure I understood that comment, but I don't believe I want to. That's understandable. I didn't apply to join the Ferrymen until I was fully powered, and there are many others who feel the same way. Clans aren't for everyone. However, I'd be more than willing to teach you everything I've learned in my time in the city on a one-on-one basis. I may not be as old as other pyres in the city, but I'm confident enough to say that I know just as much as them, if not more. Oh, and you don't have to call me sir. I appreciate the thought behind it, and I think it's adorable, but it makes me feel old.

And, um...Mr. Key...I'm not sure I understood that comment, but I don't believe I want to. That depends. Do you have any innocence you'd like to get rid of?

I take the responsibility of siring very serious. My childe's actions are a direct reflection on my proud bloodline. Regardless what some think, I am cautious about whom I sire and I suggest to you to be very particular in your choice of a sire, Odette. Many pires simply collect childe as some sort of warped status symbol. There are many vampires willing to counsel you in achieving your powers and many more resources filled with all the information you will need to become fully power. Good luck with whatever you choose to do.

Actually, I am powering thralls at this very moment. But I agree with most of what you've said. Siring is not something to be taken lightly, no matter the circumstance. I've only sired once since since being fully powered, and that was Shini. I've yet to regret that choice. Contrary to the mass opinion, I do take things very seriously, and work very hard. Simply ask any of my clan or bloodline. Odette, I think you have potential, and I'd enjoy being able to get to know you more. I said I'd be open to the idea of siring you, and that still stands as just that - Open to the idea. Of course, I'd want to get to know you on a more personal basis, so once again, feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience.

Odette, feel free to look me up on my cell (YIM: sdboutlaw). I'm not making the offer to sire you, but I am making the offer to help you find he or she that you truly belong with.

I adore the fact that "powering up thralls" is a siring point now a days! Because everybody wants a sire that might wind up in prison! It's the new cool thing! Really, Odette, the best advice that I can give you is to get to know the person who's going to sire you before you let them do so, because your first sire is probably the most important one you'll have.
