However, I must concur with some of the opinions aired here that a more proper announcement was in order. Public relations practitioners generally do issue press releases to journalists with more information than it seems you provided--sorry to disappoint he who said otherwise--such as rationale for, background of and reaction to such an appointment. At any rate, good luck. And if you need any advisement in re: public relations, I'm sure you'll know who to look for, Inu.

I still have no idea what a ferrymen arbiter is. Does the arbiter make the official public statdments for the clan? Does arbiter have a role in deciding clan policy, or is it just a mouthpiece? But when i see the word arbiter, i think of arbitration. Does the arbiter settle disputes? Seriously... Just saying that so n so is arbiter only raises more questions. Ya may as well just post in the casualty section that vampire x has been zeroed. Leave out the ss info and not say by whom or why.

The Arbiter is a public representative of the Ferrymen, working on the relationship between the clan and other clans throughout the City. I do have a role in deciding clan policy and changes, yes, as a member of the High Council, and I work as well to make sure disputes between clanmates are settled as well as disputes between clan members and non-Ferrymen vampires in the City.
If you have any issues with a certain member of the Ferrymen, concerns about the Ferrymen in general, or are intersted in knowing more about the clan or myself, feel free to contact me:

It was strange to actually be sitting down and reading a paper. Though she had been quiet since her return, the name caught her eye and as always the thought of lovely Inu brought a smile to her face. She ignored most other news and then sent in a small reply to this.
