So does this mean he's leaving the city like her former partners? Please? So Ladypeacek has what it takes to grab the attention of those of us for whom existence extends beyond the bounds of this limited city. I'd be more concerned if she'd found a nice stay at home husband who'd been here since the dawn of time. A year ago, I pitched her an idea. I said "let's you and me do what we can to make the Ferrymen great, fight a big war then I disappear into the sunset". Despite the fact she knew I would be gone, within the year, she smiled and signed up. That takes more than a little courage. As for those that went before, Wdys is currently leading the Ferrymen and forging them into a kick ass clan, building on our good work. I think it's a cheap shot to imply that her men abandon her, a cheap shot that I refuse to indulge with you tempting though it may be.

Ummm .... I see no waste in severing an absent husband ... I see no waste in severing a wrong choice ... the coin is immaterial

Um - gee that was quick. I'll just go with a line from a favorite song for this one - "My give a damn's busted" - and the why they did in the first place for binding and then severing. If cuz he was absent - well - if chance he was coming back - then yeah - it was a waste. My opinion - stick it out since things happen to cause us to have to leave the city for short bouts. If he wasn't coming back - well then it's something to think about.

*smiles* My dear, *I* am the absent husband and I can assure you I am not coming back, as you can clearly see. Apart from maybe to offer my ex-wife some support As for the wrong choice, well, that's the other guy and it's self-evident

then why marry? if this 'plan' as it were was to take the clan to a state and lead it to a place as a partnership, it seems immaterial to come here now to defend your actions in regards to your marriage. kudos for your plans for revitalizing the clan. the rest? kinda weak there and kinda surprising actually. especially since it was the two of your partnership that brought back her OTHER husband wyds, right? so...why marry her? why not just lead the clan together as strong individual vampires who have the same goal?
i mean to MARRY someone...regardless if you're vampire, should be about more than politics of a clan...shouldn't it? maybe i just am an ole softie who thinks that when you give your heart to someone it actually means something.

Actually Rel, I agree with you there. Marriage should be about something far bigger than yourself. However, the buisness with this is done, let's all just leave it in the past please? Blute is out of the picture (and hopefully won't come back), Ravana's sticking up for Grams, let's leave it be and focus on the real problems of the city...namely, the Techno Zombies.

Many bind for different reason , does not always have to be for love.. How weak a statement! Are you saying they weren't married they were just bound? Are you giving us all some grand insight on their relationship? OOOh! Were you in 'the know?' I'd hoped that wasn't the case here, and how sad to remind us all the idiocy of many for believing it was anything other than a marriage. BINDING and MARRYING are different species, yes? You may bind your best friend if it makes you feel spiffy and want to join you lines together and I'll think that's silly, and will watch as it ends within six months but it's your coin, not mine. You can also bind for politics reasons, social reasons, clan reasons, drug induced haze not remembering the night before reasons... MARRYING should be for love, which was my point from the start. Notice the SHOULD in that sentence so we're clear upon my meaning. Oh and the MARRY part as well. It saddened me, that's all

I don't agree with you regarding her wrong choice .... Where is her mind? Where was her mind? I thought she had a better head on her shoulders than that. Must be I'm thinking of another LadypeaceK!!!!

Apart from maybe to offer my ex-wife some support As for the wrong choice, well, that's the other guy and it's self-evident I apologize, but since your replying - actually I can't see, but that's here nor there *grins at computer screen*. But I stand by my if the vampire that was/is absent has a potential for coming back, then stay bound until know for sure. And the wrong choice - well - then shouldn't be bound to him in first place if others have said as much. but I am not one to talk - I had 2 bad choices - tho no one had warned me about my first 2 partners. When I bind to my fiancee it will be for love. And will be for good. I thought my last binding was it, but ...that's another story and one that is in the past.
