I'm fairly certain spying and deceit are in the same category as killing fledglings. No one wants to admit it, but we've all done it. I'll admit it on both counts. Hell, I'll do the later one again if I get a chance >.>

Perhaps the third truth is simply this: We are blood thirsty creatures and actually need little to no reason to start a war. Supposed slights can become traitorous slander, and who got caught quickly becomes who takes the fall. But that's just my view... I like you. I like you a lot. ;D I don't see why, but I will take the compliment and say Thank You for the words of praise.

Some say it's cowardly to let others get involved, but the ones involved see it as a quicker way to end a battle. Fact remains Kaelani was a spy - Kaelani betrayed the trust of many people, Kaelani got what was coming to them. And the fact still remains, that there is another spy inside of that clan, and one of the leaders was a spy, herself. So in all reality, pin-pointing one, one who was treated like garbage from the moment she stepped in the clan to begin with, is stupid in itself. This clan has more issues to worry about than a tiny spy who doesn't know how to keep her buisness to herself. They're falling apart all on their own, all Dumont family is doing is helping them reach their destiny.

Her being a 'tiny spy who doesn't know how to keep her business to herself' does not negate the fact that she's been punished for her actions, though it does scream that perhaps the vampire(s) that sent in her, encouraged it, allowed it, did not discourage it should have their asses stomped to hell and gone. Yanno because she was a tiny spy who doesn't know how to keep her business to herself (untrained-inexperienced-not ready to take on that kind of task)

Yanno because she was a tiny spy who doesn't know how to keep her business to herself (untrained-inexperienced-not ready to take on that kind of task) I agree with that last statement. If she could not keep it to herself, then she shouldn't have been sent in to perform such a task. This isn't all about protecting the spy, though. As I've stated previously, both parties have held grudges, and anger with eachother, from previous actions in the past. Whether or not one says "That is incorrect", the facts and the history are both showed publically. It is hard to deny such things. The way I see it. Karma has a funny way of kickng people when no one expects it. They've spied, they've been disrespectful in obituraries, and they've tried to get their allies to enter wars to fight for them. In the past.So now that the Dumont family is doing such things, spying, requesting our allies help, and an ally has been disrespectful twards a fallen one, all of a sudden it is completely wrong. I can see where people come from, but all we're doing, is rubbing their failure in their faces, and they are getting more and more angry about it. But the war is going to continue, whether anyone in this city agree's with it, or not.

Why on earth would this sucktastic spy take a job she cannot handle, and then not take responsibility for her actions. My own actions have cost me blood, my loved ones blood and ultimately my whole family.. and this "little spy" cannot even take responsibility and deal with one stupid fuckup? If they are falling apart on their own then let them. If they are in that bad shape - then it only proves my point. It's easy to kick someone whos already wounded, right? Makes you feel all mighty and powerful, doesn't it?

Makes you feel all mighty and powerful, doesn't it? Everybody has kicked everybody when they're down. That is not an incommon way of life at all, actually. And, Kaelani can not come out and state that she takes responsibility for her actions, she rests in torpor, as she should. They have been wanting this attack for a long time. They have also planned on getting Splinters for some time as well. All we did was make the first move. This one "fuckup" Kaelani caused, brought the Dumont family what they needed to fight in this war. If anything, the clan itself, should be able to grow closer and stronger together in this time, instead of fall apart, if you want to look at it from all eyes in the court-yard. Now my question to you, Ms. Spookie, is this: If it is alright for ones to plot against another, why is it wrong for the ones plotted against to take action, instead of plot as well and waste time?

Because you need a lot of influence to make four small, itty bitty clans fight with you, yes?

Why is there even commentary going on about how many clans/warriors/hitters/support are on one side VS the other. Its not a huge surprise. That's what those silly little things called alliances and such are for.
