*sighs* Rest well. I am always disappointed, as I said elsewhere, when I see clan leaders falling in battle that quickly.
Of course, that's way better than them hiding in shadows, yet... A leader should never let their clanskin alone in the fight.

A leader should never let their clanskin alone in the fight. Personally I think this war is bullshit. They fought hard only months ago against the HA. They never had a chance to fully recover bp and coin. Ace has been building his "army" and now he uses the excuse of Kaelani's zeroing as an opportunity to "flex" his muscles.

Um... Yes, and?
Heh, no offence Hair; theres a whole other thread dedicated to the why-fores and what ifs of this fight. I like your account the best so far. Cept for the 'This war is bullshit' bit.
Its happening, and people are goin down.
Rest Well Lyrical.

Hairbear, allow me to disagree with you.
One should never enter a fight if said fight leaves you vulnerable for the next one... Planning is an important part of good leadership. L'inconnu did well on their first fight, but I am not the only one to have noticed that they withdrew from the fight quite quickly, a feat which had a big influence on Ferry losing the fight.
I think they jumed the gun, in the hopes of making a name for themselves. They haven't got back that which they lost, and are thus vulnerable, but that was to be expected. That's the game of war...
Anyone wishing to defeat a strong enemy will wait for an opportunity when the opponent is weary and tired. However, there is worse than losing a fight, there is losing it, or even winning it with dishonour. I have yet to see the outcome on both these...

I think what Hairbear was referring to was the driving force behind it. Instead of differences of opinion, principle, politics even, this war feels more like it happened because of vanity. It feels opportunistic, cheap. And I kind of agree with her there.
On the other hand, I love seeing action, and getting a bit of it for myself too. It's been too long since the obits... sorry, the 'Casualties' section, was getting filled at this rate. It's refreshing; I bet the streets were parched.

Can we stop derailing Lyric's thread about politics and take that to maybe the Declaration of War thread? Have a little respect and decency folks the Obits aren't the place to argue this kind of thing.
Thanks.
