I was interested, for a servant of mine, in need of a grren card that costs, as you know, five credits. So I did the correct thing that is to send a message saying that I was a buyer. As it was late, I went to take a little rest. When I rose, I got the following three messages. Thing is... I like my business partners to be reliable, and I also like them to have only one word. Business may be business, but I don't do mine this way, and it's not mine what you do with yours. Now, I'm still interested by someone who could provide some help with regard to that green card for my butler. Reliable help. That would be me. Sorry, I didn't know you were the buyer. I'm just greedy. With this new knowledge, however, I have to say that I'm backing out of buying the credit. My apologies, black_dragonet. I wouldn't have made the offer if I'd known you were the original customer. I thought it was just some random scrub. So, Luke, my apologies to you as well. I will not be buying this credit from you.

Well... guess I'm fucked. Why can't karma come around this quick on the good things? Ha

*bows and smiles* Thank you Liander. We may disagree quite often, but you really proved me something today. I shall remember that...
It would seem keeping one's word does quite much towards making good business. I wish you good luck, Luke.

black_dragonet if you're not completely put-off by this, the original 5,000 offer is still out there.
Note to self: What would stay quiet and on the q/t on the streets back home, is open to total public discloser in Ravenblack. Glad I learned that one on such a small deal, rather than getting really screwed over later on working with big bucks.

You really can't banter to me about this. Oh yeah? Check this shit out. I've sold Credits myself, and I'm telling you no one is going to buy it. Go ahead and add four more to the one you have and you can maybe ask for 15K for it. *smiles* (Modified cause I'm tired.) Well you're not as good a hustler as me then. You deposit 5120 coins. ____ gave you 5000 coins. Sold. Thread closed.

Would you care to put your money where your mouth is? Of course I would never hustle someone that's such a lewd word. Hustle is to con. Conning one is akin to stealing someones coins right from under them. I do none of those things. Except to those who don't bank there coins right away in the city. I strike agreements, and I'd make the extra effort to make all parties happy and in the end completeling my side of the bargin. If you maybe put the effort into stealing in the city, you'd have 5k no problem. That is all I have to say to you. Good eve. Jules.

Note to self: What would stay quiet and on the q/t on the streets back home, is open to total public discloser in Ravenblack. Glad I learned that one on such a small deal, rather than getting really screwed over later on working with big bucks. *puts it on his back* *nods* You really need to learn. A few things. I'll start with listening... I thought I had made myself clear. Your offering again what I had already refused I find quite insulting. Need I make myself clearer? I was willing to buy what you had to offer. I contacted you, and you confirmed it was okay, only to tell me you had changed your mind, without explanation. Then you have to insolence to come back to me, explaining why you desisted, and asking me to pay twice as much as the agreed price, thus inflicting to another what had already displeased me so much. Your opportunistic lies and deceits angered me, but I excused you, because you obviously were young, and lacking counsel. Anyone would have told you that I just do not do such things. I just decided to allow fellow buyers to better understand with whom they were doing business, and state that I would not be doing business with you. I even spoke with you this day, and was civil with you, telling you that I forgave you, and offered little advice. I do not understand how and why you came back here, trying to act the big boy you so obviously are not yet. I do not use to share what is supposed to be private, but then again, I am not used to being taken for a fool. Youth does not excuse everything... You are being insolent, even bordering on impudent. Learn to suck up to your mistakes. Learn to hold your promises, it helps gaining trust. Then you should also learn to get information regarding people you do business with. Asking your mentor who I am, or trying to get information about me would have helped you predict how I would react to your little plans. Anyone would have told you that I would just not get along your plan. The cold feet annoyed me, but then again, lots of thing annoy me, I have learnt to live with it. Your third message, offering to outbuy the outbidder you simply should have never sent me. That message angered me because I found insulting that anyone would believe I would get along with this. Then your fourth message I just couldn't let pass. Every makes mistakes, younglings more than others, but few build that elaborate a contraption of mistakes. Eventually, get control over that large mouth of yours. Juliana runs the shop with the largest turnover in this city. She knows what she is talking about. Maybe since you are 'that' good, you can get more than what she thinks is it sorth, but being demeaning towards her like that does not help you show better. It shows how foolish and rashtempered you are. It adds to what you have already shown to us, and it does not draw a magnificent picture. Certainly not the picture you would like everyone to see. Just. Shut. Up. See, those last two messages were totally useless, and got me somewhat pissed. Today I told you was not angry at you, and that if I had been, my words would not have left you doubting whether I was or not. I guess you do not need asking me such a question anymore now. I hope you learn. Quickly.

I set out to sell something. And I sold it. I'm sorry your not happy with the way things turned out. I found another buyer who is more than pleased. I learned from my litte blunder with you, and we covered it privately just a few hours ago so I don't know why you had to bring it up twice, with a darker tint for the public eye. I assume that we spoke in person before you read my reply in this forum. Just because you talked to me live first, than came on here and read the post, doesn't mean the messages were delivered in the order you received them.
Still, thank you for the advice you gave me, it was helpful and I'm always eager to learn new things. As for shutting up, I will do that when I please. And now that my business is complete here and all loose ends are tied up, I will be making my own choice to do that after this post.
Just because you were angered by the outcome, your emotion does not justify coloring it as lies and deceit. I was 100% honest with you every step of the way. You just didn't like it. I will listen to any constructive criticism of the way I do things so that I can learn to do better, but when I feel it isn't just, I'll say my little part to set the record strait and move on.
As for Juliana, she told me I could not do something. When people tell me I am not capable of pulling something off, it just makes me want to do it that much more. Which I did. Don't curse me for my ambition.
I signed up to this forum and decided not to post because I saw how every little issue is blown into a huge ordeal seemingly just for the sake of argument and everyone wanting to one-up each-other. I find this petty. The only reason I posted was in the hope of making a sell. Now that I have successfully completed my task, I'll be going back to my silent watching. Anything else you have to say to be should be taken up in private.
Edit: spelling

Why can't you just listen to what he's saying to you and take it as constructive, albeit helpful criticism?

Well you're not as good a hustler as me then. Don't whine. Your dealings with black_dragonet and the above comment .....you are indeed a good hustler...and so much more. Unfortunately, none of them appealing. ~HiS~

My investments are much more prestigious than one simple item, and much more reasonably priced. Would you care to put your money where your mouth is? Of course I would never hustle someone that's such a lewd word. Hustle is to con. Conning one is akin to stealing someones coins right from under them. I do none of those things. Except to those who don't bank there coins right away in the city.I strike agreements, and I'd make the extra effort to make all parties happy and in the end completing my side of the bargain. If you maybe put the effort into stealing in the city, you'd have 5k no problem. That is all I have to say to you. Good eve. Jules. That made me giggle... So being the bitchy curious negro I am. I grabbed a few dictionaries and looked up the word 'hustle.'Main Entry: hus·tle Pronunciation: \ˈhə-səl\ Function: verb Inflected Form(s): hus·tled; hus·tling \ˈhə-s(ə-)liŋ\ transitive verb 1 a : jostle, shove b : to convey forcibly or hurriedly c : to urge forward precipitately2 a : to obtain by energetic activity <hustle up new customers> b : to sell something to or obtain something from by energetic and especially underhanded activity <hustling the suckers> c : to sell or promote energetically and aggressively <hustling a new product> d : to lure less skillful players into competing against oneself at (a gambling game) <hustle pool>intransitive verb 1 : shove, press 2 : hasten, hurry3 a : to make strenuous efforts to obtain especially money or business b : to obtain money by fraud or deception c : to engage in prostitution4 : to play a game or sport in an alert aggressive mannerBold is what matters, thank Merriam Webster, its my favorite little red book... But on to more pressing matters.
Personally I found it offensive that you would connote 'Hustle' with 'Con', you can hustle in an honest way. Coming from nothing you can work hard, i.e. hustle to make something of yourself. That doesn't necessarily mean you con your way to the top with dishonest means, that's a completely different manner of dealing with a situation.
I think it was a little insensitive to phrase yourself in that way.
But on the same note, i'm sure there are plenty that use the hustle in a less honorable way. Manipulating and back stabbing to get what they want in life, or un-life in our case, as proven in the definition of the word 'Hustle'
But that's just my take on something totally off the topic of buying and selling. Take it how you want.

1. con buy a con mug Slang term for a ripoff or the act of ripping off somebody.
con
noun
1: an argument opposed to a proposal [ant: {pro}]
2: a person serving a sentence in a jail or prison [syn: {convict}, {inmate}, {jailbird}, {gaolbird}]
3: a swindle in which you cheat at gambling or persuade a person to buy worthless property [syn: {bunco}, {bunco game}, {bunko}, {bunko game}, {confidence trick}, {confidence game}, {con game}, {gyp}, {hustle}, {sting}, {flimflam}]
While he did in fact make some coin, I don't believe his prices were fair in the beginning. Then he went between the two for more monies. Playing each against the other.
I just didn't find the act entirely honorable, nor did I find the way he had to brag about it. It wasn't proving anything other than very rash behavior on his part.
Paying quite allot for just one item is one thing, pitting two against each other is entirely something else. I wouldn't exactly call it hustling, I'd call it conning because the item in question I believe. Was incredibly over priced and it would have been a not wise move to deal with someone with such an expense over one item.
Veritably I would have walked away from that exchange.
Good eve.
