Oh boy haha *settles in to watch Airhead and Jacomo field all those questions*, this should be good.
Well, good luck you two, hope you have enough experience between you to make something like this work, neutral often does not last.

I agree with Vermin -- er -- Vamane. I've never been clanned outside of the "Family Clan" per se, and I've also been browsing and going over my options.
Are there certain requirements needed to be accepted into the clan? If so, what are they?
You say there are open positions. What TYPES of positions are these and what are some examples of what they entail?
This clan is currently listed as neutral but if it suddenly shifted into a state of war, what would be the punishments and reprimands for someone not participating in the warring if they were fully capable, their reasons being the war involved family or others as close as kin? Would the bond to family and friends need to become superseded, so to speak, until the times of war were over?
Is the person seeking to join the clan able to have a battlecloak or neutrality?
Again, if a time of war were entered, would they still be expected to aide their allies with coin or weapons?
Is there a general pool of money for th clan to be used for various activities? If so, how much is typically expected from each member?
Is there an extensive knowledge of the City and its past and its people openly available to clan members who are curious to know such things?
Is there a mentor system set in place for the fully-powered and/or older members to assist the newer and younger members?
Will it be necessary to advertise for the clan in the City, leaving various recruiting messages? Because in all honesty, I find this overly annoying sometimes..
Thanks in advance for answering, Aunt-thing. You're lucky I type better than I speak or you might have had a bit of trouble with all these questions. Alright, i'm going to jump straight into these questions.
No at this point there are no requirements for entry at this point, we're open to all, and plan on staying as such for a while. Now, that's not to say three months down the line we won't make the clan become exclusive, because we might.
As far as clan positions? We're looking for teachers, that's really the simplest way I can phrase it, they don't all have to be part of the clan and that's the thing i'm working on, and so i'll spill the beans now. A few days ago I called someone and started bouncing some ideas off of them simply because they had some questions about Sons Of Sin and what we stand for, i.e are we Dumont affiliated. I told them the same thing I have been saying. Unless there are Dumonts in S.o.S clan business will not cross with Dumont business, so no clan member would have to worry about our [Jac and I's] personal life[War's battles that sort of thing], because it is just that, our personal life.
So this is what I came up with in talking to them, having guest speakers, it would all be ran through our cellphones, so that if they are clanned there would be no "invasion" of the clan houses on anyone's side privacy would be maintained, but the idea would be to conference call all the members, or a certain few depending on the topic, and have guest speakers come in and talk to "management" on how to better run a clan, or to younger ones on how to become a better 'pire.
And with that, if any clans are interested in this idea, please contact me on my cellphone whether to talk about actually following through or if you have questions about security.
I don't know if you were "up and running" during the war with the Unknown [L'inconnu], but I did not participate at first because, firstly i'm a self-declared pacifist, second there were people in that clan that I considered family, by the time that I did decide to get involved it was too late. And to answer your second question about funding, that would be completely up to you, as far as i'm concerned.
Anyways as far as Neutrality and Battlecloaks you'd have to talk to Jacomo about that, because it is not an issue that has come up yet.
Is there a general pool of money for the clan to be used for various activities? If so, how much is typically expected from each member?: Unfortunately because this is a public post, I cannot answer this question because of its sensitive nature.
For your next question please refer above, we're working on having guest speakers and teachers come in.
As far as the mentor system that is also something i'm working on, but because of maturity differences between 'pires it's taking longer than I expected to pick "Big Brothers" and "Big Sisters."
No, you will not be asked to do anything in the papers. That is my job, so unless something happens to me, I wouldn't count on it ever happening.
I hope I have covered all of your questions, and thank you for the questions, i'm sure they'll help someone else.
A((Slow to the draw, sleep deprived yesterday. Sorry! E))

~Smirks at the two comments posted above~ Cute.
Is the person seeking to join the clan able to have a battlecloak or neutrality?
Answer: Ruckus, I have no problem with Pires that are cloaked or otherwise, they’re free to join. I was once cloaked myself, a long, long time ago now. We understand the ins and outs of being cloaked or Neutral, and both have their advantages with the odd disadvantage. There is a place and task for all.
Again, if a time of war were entered, would they still be expected to aide their allies with coin or weapons?
Answer: We’re a neutral clan, which means we do not seek war, but if the time comes when it finds us, the leaders of the clan are the only ones that need worry about such an issue. Your coin is your own and what you do with it is up to you. Again not too much can be said here regarding the topic of coin, but you’re more than welcome to seek me out and ask further questions. War, on the other, I can answer. If a member does not with to participate, that is their decision and will not be held against them.
It is true that neutral clans sometimes tend to change such a title, but it would be stupid on my part to go into something like this with a ‘Free for all’ slogan, we do not wish to make members targets, but instead offer advise, friendship and a chance for them to find their own place in this city. It is very easy as a young Pire, to make a number of enemies for ones self, so in setting guidelines that do not restrict a members freedom too much, hopefully such can be avoided.
Is there a general pool of money for the clan to be used for various activities? If so, how much is typically expected from each member?
Answer: Yes, and no, we don’t expect members to give anything, however, if they do it is much appreciated. Like Lady Coquette, we intend to save up enough coin to secure a building in our own little part of the city, and are very close to that target with the coin I have to offer alone.
As for your comment, Jocelyn, please don’t assume that we’re the only two Pires offering our wealth of knowledge. Though I believe the knowledge I’ve gained having been here so long will suffice, but if you have any worries about that you know how to reach me, thank you, however, for your… kind words.

... Methinks maybe this is something you and I should talk about? And well, I don't think there will be much profit. Although...I could throw your name in for shiggles. And the first video was to Rihanna's S.O.S. I will be taking requests. #And as far as that dance. I don't think Jac looks good in a dress...
