Where is this taking place, Luke? >.> At this time it's still under construction. ME and my partners are taking special time and consideration to make sure all the kinks are worked out before take off and we have a smooth, efficient operation. But it'll probable be after Mina, making that whole "I won't allow people to participate in both auctions" statement irrelevant and unenforceable. I'm down with people getting a little change in their pockets from hers. And maybe her *1* lucky lotto winner can bid up a storm on my well paid slaves.

And yet, I'll stick with the person I know I can trust with my money, even if it means giving up 40% of the coinage. My loss? Perhaps. However, I prefer to business with my friends.

First of all Luke, your English is appalling. I have to put that out there. It reminds me of another.... hmmm who would that be? oh yes, Gazing Darkness.
However, your ideas of a separate auction with a new idea of rules and profits or lack there of, is to be commended. You will notice the staff and I hold 10% for costs due to the need of scrolling banks and having to use our own SoTe. That over the 3 sometimes 4 weeks of making sure money gets to the slave in a timely manner, tends to be consuming. If I am robbed, I absorb the cost… it comes out of my bank. As far as the lottery it is held via public access television where all who care to see can. (((Live web cam... slow methodical movements, no slip of the hand)))
As far as live auctions, I have asked many times for any options for a place to hold 100 to 150 people without kicking out, holding up or easy access of “alias’” so bogus bids can not be accepted. None have proven fruitful. The offer still stands and until then remains silent.
As far as being slaves in both, the reason is simple. If you are a slave for 2 masters your time will be spread thinly and you can not possible offer the attention the buyer deserves. I was not being a bitch as some thought, I was watching out for the customer. I have no qualms about serving a term in both, just simultaneous.
Now as for watching out for the customer… I recently gave back 10,000 coins to a buyer, for a slave who did not serve their time. I can not prove who of the staff took coins for them because, it was from 2007 and I have since separated from some of the staff that year. Want to know what kind of business woman I am? A fair one… Ask nearly anyone that has dealt with me on a business basis. If you do not like me personally that is one thing but how I handle business should never be in question.

Mina,
No need to be defensive. If you are what you are, then you don't need to sell everyone on it. Especially that guy.

Final public word from myself about the Auction...
I never intended to mislead anyone to have hopes entering the 2009 Winter Auction. The truth of the matter is 2008 was to be the last, though few knew it. I as well as many in the city had begun to notice the tarnish building, on what was the City’s one few distractions from war and clan strife. I hold my head high in knowing that I helped a few people meet lasting companionships, mine is among them. I looked forward to see the Kindred that dared put their name on the roster. I remember EsBeacy win a million coins … a feat that had never been done. Helios paid 750k in coins for a woman he had never spoken to.
The point to my rambling is that what once was so exciting and looked forward to; is now tarnished and should have bowed out sooner. To my fault for stepping back upon a stage for an encore when the light should have simply dimmed, I apologize.
This years Auction is to be cancelled as of immediately and no further auctions are in planning as of this moment.

Mina Thank you so much for the many years you have given us of the auction. My memories of the event are and always will be fond ones. You did an amazing job and I am sad to see them end, but you must do what you think is right. Warm wishes to you and I hope we cross paths in the future

My love you should be proud, if it makes you feel better we can watch as the idiots keep failing where you have succeeded for so many years.

You have done a wonderful job since i been a part of them, both as slave and buyer. I am sad to see it end but all good things evenually do just that...end. Thank you for your effort and passion for it.

I had a bit of fun in the auctions I was involved in. Sorry to see it go, though, I was looking forward to being an onlooker. Thank you for giving the City something to do and, like Arianne said, your effort put into this. You did a really good job of holding all of these, Mrs. Mina.

And I remember paying a million to the first female to ever get it... and for nothing more than a week of sweet blissful coffee in the morning. I shall just have to figure out some other way to find people to wash all my cars...

Cheers on the successes you've had!

Mother you are one of the shining stars of this city. I am proud to know you and proud to know how awesome you have been to have succeeded in facilitating the slave auction for so many years. Thank you.
