I agree with pretty much what everyone else said.
And you should put the board into Maintenance Mode whenever you feel the need; a forum's not worth a cubic ton of stress.

I changed my career because of the stressful work environment. Sometimes we just need to do what's best for us. I went from being mid/upper level management to being just a truck driver. Best decision I've made in years. ;D This incident was an example of how we travel down different roads to get to the same place. Meph's player wanted to make a point about the YGG symbol, which causes Zach to step up the game by using racist symbols to make his point concerning the swastika. I really work on not allowing words or symbols stir emotions. That is the intent. It a a skewered form of emotional control when you elicit a reactive response. You keep your personal power when you act pro-actively. Not an easy thing to do at times but it is satisfying to know that you've given nothing to someone desperately trying to gain a negative reaction from you. I find when situations like this arise on the Internet, it's a good teaching tool for dealing with RL issues. The trick is focusing on the big picture rather than the rhetoric. Unfortunately life isn't nice, neat, wrapped in pretty paper with ribbons and bows but if you take these experiences and apply them to life, you are ahead of the curve.
