Vana, I hope you have finally found the peace you were looking for. You are missed by those who were blood to you, as well as those who were not. Rest well, Childe.

When a vampire makes mistakes, then many vampires in the city just never forget that mistake, however much the vampire has changed after that... Ohh come on black_dragonet. Sometimes you’re such a damned hippy. When said vampire's soul leaves the body and manages to reincarnate in another newly turned vampire and these vampires with a long memory (after all, we're immortal, so long means LONG) keep reproaching the new vampire with what they did in another's body, even though the new one has no knowledge of anything from the previous incarnation, then it is hard to withstand the pressure. That is much of the reason why she left. The staying power grows with experience and wisdom. Give people a chance to show they've changed... You and I are of completely different philosophies. Weak is as weak does and weak in one body does not mean that one is going to find the missing strength in another. The same weakness was there and will remain, irrespective of what kind of face or name you put on it. The weakness is choosing to reincarnate instead of choosing to battle the city, chin high and flipping everybody the middle ‘fuck you’ finger. Damari, however much I like you, I have seen you do that, and I wish you would not. When we happen to know a vampire's soul reincarnated into another, we should not forget that the new vampire has no knowledge of us, nor of what his sould did in another's body, and we should let their personality develop until we go or don't go at them. Wishing me different isn’t going to make it so and that which is loved about me at times is the self same thing many in this city hate and to love one, you must learns to accept the other because it’s all tied up under the same Couture inspired bow. She’s gone because she’s weak. Whether it was the weakness she brought with her before or the same it matters not. You know why? Because if that’s the excuse she’s using as to why she’s buried herself then obviously she hasn’t completely forgotten her past either. *shrug* Cest la vie I say. Reincarnation is so totally overrated. Strength is remaining exactly as you were and accepting this unlife and everything it throws at you. I used to be the most hated, vilified creature in this city and the abuse that used to be heaped on me has turned me into the bitter, no bullshit crow I am now. Imagine if I’d decided to whimp out and reincarnate myself, what you’d have all missed out on. Sad isn’t it? *nods* Yes, indeed.

It's partly true... When a vampire makes mistakes, then many vampires in the city just never forget that mistake, however much the vampire has changed after that... For someone who proclaims to yield the sword of truth, you really left it on the sideline on this one. Actions are actions, period. If I ran around killing everyone in the city and then hopped bodies expecting to not suffer any repercussions from my actions, then I, quite frankly, would be a blithering idiot. I don't think it's a secret that it was my family that she in her old body screwed over, and it was my family who called her out in her new one. However, for someone to crack over two to three public comments is ridiculous. Considering that we had awareness the night it occurred and just didn't give a crap until she began doing things in her new incarnation that hurt folks (and even then it was sporadic at best), this whole "no one gave me a chance excuse" is just crap. Bottom line is, whoever the hell you wish to call her wanted name recognition and power, and she chose the path of trying to associate herself with others who had it rather than getting off her lazy ass and building it for herself. She couldn't get it in unlife, and so now she'll get it in death. Until the next time she reincarnates herself and hurts even more people...which is probably closer to reality than any of this other shit.

ohhhh okay - just for the record, in this case. I didn't care who Vanadese was before. That wasn't my row to hoe.
