Ok, so RavenBlack himself has approved this and he put Alexdoh in charge, one of the guys that runs around the city with the gang called the midnights ransacking and vandalizing others property. Sounds pretty trust worthy. I would rather have RavenBlack as a landlord.

He and the others involved in this are offering those who wish a lair for coin the opportunity. If you do not wish it, don't do it... but don't complain about it before even checking what it actually entails. Whining before checking facts is for newbs, you are not a newb.

COVEN, RB did indeedly allow me to do this and if you don't like it...You can go suck a sweet one from the end of my love pole.

If they don't end up renting to people, They can be sold easily enough so either way we aren't loosing out. Would be nice for others to get the option of buying without having to give up money (OOC)

I’m stating my opinion on the matter and I did look into it a bit, went to the site and seemed pretty sketchy and not once did I rant telling others not to do this. I just stated my opinion. Alexdoh, I’m far from jealous and if it works congrats and i will leave the sucking to your Boyfriends, but if you take off your Cloak, i can ram my foot up your ass a few times, you might enjoy that.

Okay see this is where I think I'm confused. Are the land plots and homes already built in the city (ooc: purchased by folks). I'm not to sure why RB would actually give a hoot on what vampires do with their land/property that they already own. If they want to rent it out for pretty shiny coins in the city that's their business so I'm not seeing where his approval would be needed at all. Maybe you could clarify that, then explain where the land is coming from or how you go about appropriating it and the right to rent it etc?

COVEN, If you are actually trying to bring this to big bad threats in the city over alittle business I will gladly take off the cloak for you to make an ass out of yourself.
Opi. The land plots are bought but the houses aren't put up as of yet as we didn't see the point in buying them without the initial name and description for the plots themselves.
We wanted this approved with RB first even though he isn't going to have a hand in this purely for the fact that people will be suspicious about giving money away for something they aren't getting back straight away and rightfully so. We are making it very clear that if they feel that they don't get enough that they shouldn't do it, This is for serious buyers or renters only and shouldn't be taken lightly.
End of the day, Yes...We -could- rip people off, but the business wouldn't last long without the people renting the properties and wanting to keep them.

Eh, I'm on the fence with this one. While it sounds pretty cool and all, the idea that the contract can be changed without a tenant being notified does not sit well with me. And for that, it makes all of it sound pretty sketchy. Which, again, results to me being on the fence. Of course, that's just my opinion. I would hate to get patronized for it. *Whistles softly behind the computer*
You know, some documentation of RB's approval might help.

The part where we "Can change the contract without prior notification" is something held on most tenancy agreements and is one of the terms on being within this city itself
(I quote from Raven Blacks terms of conditions
7. Termination of Service
Raven Black reserves the right, at his sole discretion, to restrict, suspend or terminate your access to all or any part of the site, at any time for any reason without prior notice or liability. Raven Black may change, suspend or discontinue all or any aspect of the site at any time, including the availability of any feature, database or content, without prior notice or liability. Donations towards site upkeep in no way imply that the site will necessarily remain available to the donator. )
I hear not a single complaint from people saying this seems sketchy, We take for granted that It'll be around forever. Its a legal term that stops you lot from suing him everytime the server crashes or everytime it slips offline.
Just as you'll get rights within your tenancy agreement that gives you rights. We aren't inhumane and we know that if we screw over the people we want renting the places then its going to fall flat on our ass.
One whiff of a scam and you lot would flee. We know this and yes we are taking a risk putting something new in the city. It is the risk of business.

The most basic way to put it is yes, Simply we are giving OOC money for coins. You can buy them outright for coins if you find the rental idea sketchy. There is no risk in that if you can afford the coin.

"That's all good with me. --RavenBlack Raven, I have struck upon this idea, I have planned to purchase five houses in the RBC and rent them out for in game coin. this venture, I purpose to make this city more interesting, and to bring in more revenue in donation credits. Each tenet is required to purchase from me the houses owner, the 50 DC's to change the buildings Title and description. If they want to change it at anytime that is from their own funds, not mine, although they are welcome to purchase them from me. You of course will be notified before any major coin passing, that is happening. So that you will always be informed at all times. If the Renter does not pay the required fee on the first of every month, resulting in the Third time is the charm. They will be evicted. There are two options I purpose for this, Rent to own or to simply Rent. I have throughly thought about this plan and the venture will be donating a substantial amount to the RBC server. I'd like your thoughts on this, as I think this will be brining the city with something new and exciting. Respectfully yours," Next order, if you are worried about contract liability then I may suggest that you go ahead and rent for six months as you can be assured that the contract wont change unless the renter wishes to add something in there to add some assurance himself. We will be adding a section on the LOAN board with the email corispondence. Names, amounts and certain items will be protected for obvious reasons. Jules.
