It's quite simple, you see...Tejas and Archangel are stuck in the Matrix. They've taken the blue pill. The don't want to know how deep the rabbit hole goes. This explains why, if you "cross" from the real world, into the matrix, it seems like you are moving so much faster than they are...because they are incredibly slow individuals by nature.
