Mushi...people didn't live to that age in my time. I was 18 at best thank you very much. Thats not what I said, look again and read. And yes 5000 years ago people did live to be more then 65 years of age and even older. Heres a little history lesson. Adam and Noah both lived to be over 900 years old and they were just humans. Abraham and Moses lived to be well over 100 years and Abraham's wife sarah was over a 100 had a child. I would think one who claims to be so old could look past the historical dogma of the current age.

The same book you got that from claims the earth is 5000 years old. Aren't some of the people here older than that? I think Carpathia might be... ask her if she was born on an asteroid and made the commute later.

For those of us who are of an elder age, while vampires don't seem to age the truth of the matter is we do age. We age about 1 year in physical appearance for every century we unlive. While those who have lived over a thousand years may be able to mask their appearance. Weaken or zero them and whats left is... not so timeless. Speak for yourself, buddy.

Or maybe I should ask NASA why the moon dust only dates the moon back 10,000 years. There is scientific evidence to prove the young earth theory. After all Satan believes in the Bible.

And when I claimed Lisa's body from that affair, she looked ephemeral and beautiful in her Little-Death. She also looked just as young as she always does, just a little burned and bloody.
Maybe it's the effect of healthy eating, or maybe the fairies don't like her wrinkly. Meh, who knows?
Lisa just embraced me in November, 2008 so that makes me 19. Total age that is. ;P

Funny, I thought I threw the kill shot.
I am just calling it how I saw it.
Seeing her real age show must have been a momentary thing.

As one who's tasted Christ's blood, I feel the right to say this.
Jesus loves me, but he thinks you're an utter tool.

I was born human in 1501; Then reborn to night in 1528. Never when asked about my age have I contemplated which it was? I have just used the total number of years I have been in existence. Now I have to wonder if I have done this correct?
508 or 482, was not yet my birthday. Granted at my age I can just say around 500. Now I am confused. Bambi there is always need for a hand guide, even for those that have lived 10 lifetimes.

I just thought I'd put something here, since my story is slightly different than most of you. At my best estimate, I have been alive since about 450BC. I however, was not given the dark gift until I was over 2,500 years old. I am a demon, and I was created in the depths of the Carpathian Mountains. Back in that time, I rarely saw the sun and had no concept of the date. But, I've had the gift for nearly 6 years now, since discovering the vampire city. >modified for typos <

i agre with this from time you been on the earth 300 years old this month!
And yes - I go from the time I was born as a human to now. After all, when you ask someone how old they are you are asking them how many years they've been on the planet for - As Errah pointed out. Why on earth would a question about age be relating to how long you've been in the city for?
I've done more and seen more than a lot of folks in my time wandering. Can't exactly say I'm almost 2 and done all that now then can I!
