Name: "Princess" Saressa Ashen Adaire-Morte Original name: Saressa Ashen Morte Meaning: Beautiful Pale Death Nicknames: Princess/Saressy (Foxx only.), Sars, Res, Scar (Edan only) Sara (AnnaMolly) Angel (Risika) and Ressa. Physical Age: 20 Biological Age: 107 Race: Vampire Original Race: Human (There are very little traces of shapeshifter deep in her family, it died off at her turning.) Ethnicity: English, Romanian, and Egyptian. Date of birth: October 14th, 1902 Place of birth: Mobile, Alabama. Date of Death: October 14th, 1922. Residence: Morte Manor. Dating Status: In a Relationship Appearance: Saressa stands at 5'7'' and weighs about 140ish. She's slender with barely noticeable tone in her limbs, and is often considered by one of her siblings to be too skinny, her stomach flat. Though she prefers to ignore the idea, Saressa is beautiful and very easily flushed when it comes to compliments, often thinking that she doesn't deserve them. Her skin tone is on the border of pale and slightly tanned, depending on the light she's in. Her silky dark brown(almost black) hair falls down to mid-chest level, often wavy and lately has been worn down. When she wants to, Saressa will often twist it into a messy up do or bun and secure it with a pencil or some sort of ribbon leaving her bangs, which fall just below her chin, down. She has slight hip width, and wears a small full C cup. Her eyes are often considered to be an odd mixture of blue, silver, and green however will shift shades of either green or blue depending on her mood. When she's troubled, her eyes tend to shift more to a deep gray, lately taking more on the shade of silver and green. Saressa's lips are soft pink, her eyebrows neatly taken care of, and she wears her fingernails just above the tips painted to match her outfit. Though skinny, Saressa was trained in swordplay and martial arts as well as gymnastics. Just below her ribcage is a faint scar about two inches across, and on her back just below her right shoulder is a tattoo of a scarab. Personality: Saressa is actually a very sweet and caring individual, willing to do anything for those she loves and cares for; even if they wouldn't return the favor. When she has her mind set to something, the young woman will often get it done. She's a bit soft spoken at first meet; however she can get certain feelings about individuals that could cause her to take a while to get to know them. She is very intelligent, paying attention to small details that may seem like nothing else to others and can figure out things from that. The fact that she's stubborn can be a downfall depending on the way people look on it, and her temper is often leveled out; though she's very good at following directions and orders even when scatterbrained. She's very loyal, and protective; often wanting to make her family/friends proud of what she does. Though it doesn't show often, Saressa has a violent temper and she can be a bit mouthy as well as confused at times, but lately she's been learning to control it more. Since she's become Inu's childe, Saressa has changed for the better, learning to control sarcasm and her rudeness, directing that intent to open her mouth towards working towards goals. With her anger, she knows she can go from sweet to bitchy very quickly and openly admits it as a warning. Sometimes, she can be playful. Due to recent activity in her lifestyle, Saressa's been changing slowly but for the better. She's never had much of a backbone however now she's getting more confidence, now able to stand up for her opinions without someone she loves standing behind her. Her temper has been slipping, become more easily visible, but she has also seemed to be a bit more wary yet creative. Loves: Music, spending time or being with family, water, collecting swords and daggers or weaponry in general; hanging out and getting to know people, reading, sketching, and writing; She enjoys playing piano, rainy days, cooking for those she loves, and just being able to show the true Saressa to people. Likes: Spicy foods, being able to sit still for long periods of times, spiders and bugs, listening to the thunder, watching for lightening and sitting alone to think sometimes, Training, proving people wrong, and being able to make her family happy. Dislikes: Most veggies, the cold, being ignored, hurting others or watching others get hurt that she cares for, losing people she loves, and birds. Her twin, Foxx, when he's prissy, not being able to explain what's bothering her; and unneeded blood spill, and her weird taste in men. Hates: Dresses, the word marriage, and the thought of being married too early. One of the most odd memories the young woman has of her life was that the day of her turning, she can still remember a being with pale skin, pink hair, and emerald eyes standing on the dock located on her family property. When she went to question the woman, and get her to leave, the creature vanished leaving behind a stunned brunette. Also, when she awoke after being turned, she saw the creature once again. Strengths: Loyal to those close to her, details, and her loved ones, her determination, logic, and her intuition about people. Being there for those she cares for and that need her. Weaknesses: Thinking she's only "plain" (lack of confidence), fear of blood and losing those she loves, her loved ones, her intuition, her determination, and being too quiet and easily embarrassed. Marriage and dresses are a huge weakness and fear of hers, she doesn't like them at all and would rather skip the concept. Marriage isn't a huge problem, she just doesn't like to think of it early. Turn Ons: Cocky men, bravery, honesty, trust, guys that aren’t afraid to show true feelings, and although she often regrets it; guys that have placed her in danger. Turn Offs: Hurting someone she cares about, overly muscled guys and rudeness directed at those she cares for, and bossy ass men. Being underestimated, and seeming weaker than she is. Sexual Orientation: Straight Beliefs: She doesn't really have any, though if she gets annoyed at herself she'll mumble about "Ra." Other Facts: Saressa tends to get a bit frisky when she's pissed off, so she will often try to avoid people when she's past angry. Favorites: Green, # 13, Spicy foods, swordplay, music, and baseball. She doesn’t “need” blood to survive, she’s actual quite happy when it comes to human food. Saressa has slight issues when it comes to drinking blood, due to the fact as a human she saw it a bit too often and on the night of her death, being covered in it from head to toe happened to disturb her; she was a hunter and killed what she had become. Not to say she won't drink it, she just tends to delude the taste and smell with alcohol. She is able to go into the sun in slight amounts and in certain conditions. What she lacks in blood tolerance, she makes up for in being able to deal with the light. She does burn, it mostly irritates her skin, just doesn't flare up into ash. Her home, Morte Manor, has a lot of shade and the sun isn't as intense so she often goes out then. She doesn't have any serious special abilities, however she's very observant to details and can often figure out if something is going to happen, which either can be beneficial, or troublesome for her. Growing up, she was often the one to pay attention to the mental occupation of others around her, and instead of always doing physical fighting, Saressa practiced more under interrogation, manipulation, and being able to distance herself from others. Languages Spoken: Egyptian (More of Arabic, now), romanian, some italian, French, english, some german, spanish, and several others. [Egyptian due to family, Romanian from her father as well as italian, and english because of her father and step-mother.] Languages Known to speak: Romanian, French, some italian, but mostly english. Born To/Lived With: Sullivan Adrian Morte (Father; Deceased), Anochi Menes Nuri-Morte (Mother; Deceased), and Emily Anut (Step-mother; Deceased.) Quotes: "Everyone needs a crazy friend....and I'm glad to be yours." "Everything happens for a reason...except for clowns. I mean, seriously. What the hell?" "All I want to do is kick your ass; But my mom raised me better!" "Everyone has the power to make others happy; some do it by entering the room, others by leaving it." "If I seem to give a damn, please tell me. I would hate to be giving the wrong impression." "I'm trying to see things from your point of view, but I can't stick my head that far up my ass." "A good friend will come bail you out of jail...a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, "Damn we fucked up" " "I am ready to meet my Maker. Whether my Maker is prepared for the great ordeal of meeting me is another matter." Main Influences: Inu Adaire is the only mother-figure Saressa has ever had, in addition to being her sire; the woman has helped her through everything. Foxx is actually one of her first reasons to admit she came to the city; he's always been there for her and kept an eye on her as she's lived in the city. He calls her "twin" though the two differ in every way, and she calls him it in return, caring a lot for him. Sake has been her pink-haired companion for years; however she is the reason Saressa’s ability to level out her anger so quickly. Sake often causes trouble, and then pulls the brunette into it. Though the girl is annoying at times, the brunette is very protective of her maybe a bit too much sometimes. Caelestis is her closest friend, she can often be found talking to him and the two often bounce ideas off the other whether it is from dating to powers to keeping the other company. Nephriel is someone Saressa truly loves, often seen making her blush or laugh. He cares a lot for her, acting as an older brother figure, and even when the two do not talk for long periods of time they pick up immediately in their ability to keep their friendship. Recently, a close friend from the earlier years of her being a pyre has came to the city of Ravenblack, Amatus, who is as well originally from Gabriel and was sired by Inu. He often brings up points about her that she would prefer to have hidden – one fact that she has issues hitting guys she likes.

Human Life(1902-1922): In 1902 in the city of Mobile, Saressa Ashen was born to Sullivan Adrian Morte and Anochi Menes Nuri-Morte as the only daughter in a family of men. Her fathers blood often never had daughters that lived past the age of nine months, her mothers side having mostly only girls. Her mother was a gypsy from Egypt that had traveled with Sullivan after having a first child named Dante. Her father was a medical specialist that was also a vampire hunter through out his life, like his father before him and so on. When Saressa was born, Anochi bled out but the family wasn’t completely lost because the girl was completely healthy. Sullivan raised his children as hunters, not shocked when Anochi’s daughter Kamenwati – his stepdaughter- moved in with them after her father, Sabola passed away several years later. Training from birth, the Morte (and Kamen) were often found fighting amongst themselves or working on what they had learned prior to their freetime. Dante picking up the talent of gambling, Kamenwati causing trouble, and Saressa running between swordplay, weaponry, and medical training. Saressa grew up living next to Matthew Dawson, someone that had often bullied her despite the fact if she really wanted to, she could knock him out. Dante, being Matt’s bestfriend, often fought on Matt’s side and picked on his sister on mulitiple occasions until the girl cried and ran off. Before her fifth birthday, Saressa’s father married a woman named Emily who immediately took a disliking to her new stepdaughter. The next few years were often terrible for the girl, she trained with her father and brother daily, Kamen moved back to Egypt, leaving her alone in the large Manor without her only female friend. When she wasn’t training or spending her freetime, Saressa was either getting beaten by Matthew or by her stepmother. Two weeks before her twelveth birthday, Saressa was avoiding pretty much everyone in her family after training, Matthew having gotten on every inch of her nerves when he called her weak. Emily, only a few months pregnant, and several of her friends followed the girl up the stairs. Saressa, ignoring her, went towards her library. Her stepmother and her friends found her reading one of the Morte journals, and Emily insulted Saressa who had learned to ignore her often. Finally annoyed by her stepmother, the girl threw her family journal down and leapt after Emily sent the first slap across the ivory skin. Though it wasn’t one of her finer moments, Saressa punched her stepmother in the stomach forgetting that Emily was pregnant, then darted away to her brothers closet after the woman screamed and fell to the floor. Luckily, the child survived. Around 14, she had become a successful hunter and lead a team of younger hunters with her brother, Dante. At 16, she fell for Matt and they dated for long periods of time, broke up for a month, then dated again. When she was eighteen, Saressa and her brother Dante had been on several hunts with their father and without their team but that night had turned out with a deadly outcome. When a group of rogues jumped them, Dante was thrown into a tree while Saressa ended up getting stabbed between the shoulder blades with her own knife by a red haired vampire named Gabriel Malinda. After disarming and injuring her, he knocked her out as Dante slowly recovered enough sense to realize that he didn’t hear any fighting. Watching his sister fall to the ground, he reacted quickly, aiming a crossbow with its tip soaked in holy water, only to be caught by Gabriel who dug his fangs into the flesh of his neck. The scream that erupted from her brothers mouth shocked Saressa back to consciousness but only to see Dante being turned. Not able to help, she lay there in pain and watched her sibling turn into what they had been raised to kill. Instead of telling their father, the two siblings kept it a secret between each other. During that time, Dante became less and less social while his sister kept a track record of where Gabriel had gone. Sullivan Morte, not questioning his children as they began to become more and more busy, was happy as his daughter also took up the chance of learning medicine when he offered it. Around Saressa’s twentieth birthday, the trail had gone dry and the two Morte siblings had given up. Samuel Morte, their half brother, was turning five the day before Saressa’s birthday. In their honor, Saressa’s father and step-mother threw a large ball. Despite Saressa’s displeasure of parties, they made the best of it. Of course, all the Hunters and family friends were there. As the party progressed and Dante often disappearing out of view, Saressa spent most of her time dancing with Matthew Dawson until he proposed to her. However, before she could answer, a womans scream was heard over the music and then Dante was thrown completely through a wall. Without a chance to explain, Saressa began shoving Matt and his family towards a hidden passage in the wall. As the uninvited began piling in through the hole, Dante was on his feet and hunters had removed weaponry and began to fight. Looking into Matt’s face, Saressa forced a smile. “I’ll always be yours…” The words slipped past her lips before a tear rolled down her cheek as her uncle led the group down the passageway. Under instructions of her father, Saressa slammed the passage shut and grabbed her younger brother Samuel before going to hide. As she and Samuel began to run, they could hear a males scream – Their fathers scream. Unable to go back, the two siblings continued to run. Saressa stumbling over the long white dress she wore, tugged her younger brother in the direction of the weaponry room. As they just were about to turn the corner, Dante was thrown once again through the wall only this time he didn’t get back to his feet. “Run Sammy.” She ordered, taking off her shoes and keeping her eyes on her older brother for a second before running. Halfway to midnight, Saressa and Samuel Morte were outnumbered by a large group of vampire as they reached the Rose Garden, directly infront of the fountain. Gabriel jumped down, Saressa’s dagger in hand, and when the brunette turned to raise her fist the dagger disappeared into her chest just below her ribcage, barely missing her vitals. As the man pulled out her blade, Saressa fell to her knees gripping the wound as blood began dribbling down her chin. Samuel screamed, stepping back only to bump into a red-haired vampiress named Veronica – whom Saressa later learned was Gabriel’s mate at the time. As Saressa felt her dress become soaked in blood, she watched in horror as her younger brother was ripped apart by the creatures she had hunted most of her life, that her family spent generations destroying. Despite her pain and injury, she forced herself up and dashed the best that she could towards the lake, thinking that she could hide there. Upon reaching the docks, Saressa felt something give her a strong shove sending her flat across the dock. Landing on her wounded side with a cry of pain, she began scrambling towards the edge. Gabriel, however, was quick and grabbed her by the side, his nails digging into her wound causing a high pitched scream to erupt from the brunettes throat. At 11:58PM, on October 14th 1922, Saressa Ashen Morte was changed from vampire hunter, to what she hated the most in the world: One of the very creatures that had slaughtered her family. Current City Life: Powers: Second-sight Suction Surprise Perception Celerity(3) Stamina(3) Shadows(3) Thievery(3) Locate(3) Telepathy(3) Charisma(3) Childe(r): Nyatta. Lineage: Inu and the master vampire Annabelle. Siblings: Tohru-Chan, Amatus, Trig, Frozen Nova and MasterVamp. Clan: The Ferrymen Woo! <.<; Okay, more of her "past" will be coming so dun hit me if it is opened up three more times in the next week.

Close Family Inu is her sire, friend, and mother; She’s always there for her when she’s upset and is probably the first person she talks to when something is bothering her. Being called Inu’s “daughter” is something that Saressa beams at, because she’s never really had a mother in her lifetime. She may not have been the first person Saressa has ever talked to, but Inu definitely has a place in the vampiress’ heart. Sake has always been there for her, even when she was human. Sake often kept an eye on the younger-huntress as she was growing up and even ended up protecting her. Granted they bicker more than anything, its harmless unless the two really piss the other off. Saressa would do anything to save Sake’s life. Foxx is her “twin” and “childhood” friend. Though they aren’t true blood, the two share an unbreakable bond and while they tease each other (Well, actually Foxx teasing her. Saressa tunes him out) its for the best. He is one of the people that she trusts the most. They share an emotional and psychological connection that can interfere with Saressa’s sleeping patterns. (When Foxx has nightmares, she can often sense or see a similar dream.) While neither has been able to explain it, Foxx is probably the only person Saressa will not kill if they wake her up early in the morning. Edan has to be Saressa’s favorite uncle, they’re often talking and he (like Foxx and Inu) is someone she comes to talk to when someone is bothering her. She is the only person that he allows to use the word “Uncle” when describing him, and he calls her “Scar” for some reason unknown to her but she doesn’t mind it. Despite the fact he’s odd, she’s very close to him. Edan can be described as someone from a brother, to a friend, to her uncle, and sometimes even a father figure depending on his mood and the reaction he has to her news. Her brothers by blood are MasterVamp (Eli), Trig, and Amatus; Trig and Amat tying with the role of “awesome” in Saressa’s eyes. She’s somewhat glad Amat is younger because it makes it easier to say, “Favorite big brother” or “only little brother!” for her. Saressa and Eli often insult the other, but it is their way of showing love for the other. Trig, though he’s somewhat become rare to see, is someone Saressa is extremely close to and when she does see him, she’ll cling to his side and not move for a while. Amatus has been a friend of Saressa’s since the late 1930’s when he was sired by the pyre that turned her originally. Though she won’t admit it, she’s very grateful to have Eli, Trig, and Amatus as her male siblings. Her blood sisters are Nova and Tohru; She doesn’t know Tohru that well, to be honest and that’s mostly on her own part. Nova is Sake’s sire, and calls her “Saresista”. When she’s in a bad mood, Nova often catches it before the others in her family although Saressa is quiet when she’s angry.

Love, Friends, Angels, and the lost:Matthew Dawson is Saressa’s former lover, her only remaining link to her human life, and closest friend. They fight constantly, sometimes even violently, but its mostly out of harmless intent. Lately they’ve been growing distant, Saressa becoming wary due to a past incident that happened. Matt believed Saressa to be dead for almost 3 years before his death, and turning. Liander Wolfe, Saressa’s current boyfriend frustrates her beyond belief however she does love him. Even through the most troublesome of stress he has put her through, the vampiress has yet to leave his side as a friend. Even with all the stress he adds to her thoughts, she can’t find herself the right reason to hate him. Her best description of the man would be “frustratingly good-looking, dangerous, and cocky to boot.” From Costigan to Solus, the blonde man has always been important to Saressa Ashen. Caelestis Solus, the blue-green eyed man that Saressa can often be found hanging out with, is surely her best friend, there is no doubt about it. Saressa was often extremely violent and had a constant shadow hanging over her shoulders. Cael made her see the brighter side of reality, and those two have never ever hated each other or stabbed the other in the back – for that is the reason Saressa values his friendship. He’s very close to her, and no matter what bothers her, even when Caelestis doesn’t like the source of the problem, he is the first she turns to. Even when they bicker, its of harmless fun. He’s her drinking buddy, even with his small amount of tolerance to alcohol, whenever Saressa is extremely upset he drags her off drinking. Though she would never admit it, when she first met the blonde man she had a crush on him, however it was very slight. As she got to know him, Saressa began to see Caelestis more and more of a brother. Today the two call each other family. He’s her partner-in-crime, and she’s his Egyptian. Uriah Solus, Cael’s husband, is claimed as Saressa’s cousin. They get along very well, and Saressa goes to him when she can’t find Cael or Inu to talk with. He’s like a brother to her, and Saressa does appreciate his friendship. Surprisingly, even after an incident when they first were getting along, Uriah and Saressa seem to trust and care for each other. Infact, when Saressa and Liander first started dating, she made Liander go tell him because she was personally scared of the mans reaction. Risika has fondly been claimed, “Saressa’s Beauty Queen” and Saressa really enjoys her friendship. She sees the woman as a sister, a friend, and someone she can turn to in her darker hours. Despite the fact when Risika married Lannair, someone Saressa dislikes intensely, their friendship shattered like the mirror in Risika’s room – shortly after the wedding Saressa and Caelestis, well mostly Cael, destroyed the room that Saressa had built for Risika at Morte manor. Though there are bitter moments where Saressa thinks about what had happened she is extremely protective of both Risika and her childe, Kat. More later
