*grumbles* No. You are young, so you are stupid. And lazy too. Getting to 500 pints takes a week to a half dedicated vampire. Speak less, work more, and listen to the elders such as Rel.

Excuse me, but let me point out something to all you "elders", as you call yourselves. In order to gain coin, a necessary prerequisite to gaining powers, I chase a lot of vampire hunters. I'm not sure if you know what those are, but to you they appear green and they shoot arrows bolts. Bolts = blood loss = low blood count Use your brain.

The vampire Jair has drunk 14 pints of blood.Powers: Second-sight Shadows(3) Thievery(3) 14 pints is NOT a kill. Aw, shit. He made it. I believe an edit is in order because he -was- taken down to 2bp in the course of today. Anyone got a SS of this alleged 2bp status? And even at 2 BP it could very well have happened by random pires biting him. If you only have two pints left in your entire frame of a body, how you even have the strength to turn on a computer is beyond me. Nice justification though... I've been zeroed before and I was still able to walk all the way across the city, drain humons of their lifes blood, drink from other vampires, ask humons for directions, speak in the city. Hell... I was even able to Shout whatever crap I felt like saying. And most of those activities are a tad bit more strenuous than simply flipping a computer on and typing. I beLIEve you are confusing your view of torpor traditions as some sort of universal law. *grumbles* No. You are young, so you are stupid. And lazy too. Getting to 500 pints takes a week to a half dedicated vampire. Speak less, work more, and listen to the elders such as Rel. 500 BP in a week with a pire without Celerity3 or Suction??? Now a fully powered pire getting 500BP is doable.

Hey, I didn't post it as a kill there, chico. Though you were at 2 BP last night, and regardless of the new "trends" I still view blood below 10 pints to be a kill. That whole new "It has to be exact 0" thing reminds me of one of those video games I see the kiddos playing in the arcades where "HP" or "Life" or whatever has to be exaclty zero. But, you know, since we're livi...unliving beings, we're naturally just sloppy; not like those digitized bits and pixels. Eh, I guess it's your choice to rest or not. Have fun with that!

Boys, boys, boys.
Jarhead dear, the more you run your mouth the bigger a hole you will find yourself in, and the tougher it is to climb out.
Ace and Moons - I believe you have done your job, sweets.
Vesp... Jumping on the bandwagon to suck up to someone doesn't look right on your complexion.
Beau, King to my Queen, I am more than slightly forgetful.
Yes, he was at 2 pints of blood at one point during the night, and unfortunately no one received that screenshot. To some vampires of this city, below 10 pints is deemed a kill. To this young one, it is not.
We all have differences of opinion. My opinion is that this is all going on too far. It was a zeroing on a relatively new citizen to our city, who had no way of defending himself but by his sire's hand, which he was unwilling to accept. He has been a vampire for a total of... *eyes her calendar for the current month* ... four months. He has perhaps been here for fifty percent of that time, and in that time he has worked hard to gain the resources he has now to even get a few powers. He was not given 100,000 coins to start. Jair also came here knowing nothing of the city, as did we all.
And finally, to the Dumont family: I find it hard to hold anything against him for speaking his own version of the truth.
Jarhead (8/7/2009 12:30:21 AM): ... People value the lies they want to hear more than they value honesty itself...
Pick up and keep on going, Jair de laFronde.

Vex I believe this is one of the first that has not been taken to zero by the Dumont family, mainly because I have been there to witness all of them. I know that you're bitter right now, but personal attacks on the family are not called for. Yes, because you've attacked so many individuals that we should all quail before your mightiness. Right. Bitterness has nothing to do with it, Jac; I always thought you lot had very overinflated egos.

I don't smell of death. I don't feel dead. I don't look dead. ... I don't think I'm dead. Mephistophlese, it is appreciated that you did not jump onto the bandwagon. Jair, I've had my share of pires jumping on a bandwagon in my time here. However, I was only trying to point out a few inconsistencies relating to your being "killed". I find it difficult to acknowledge that a legitimate kill has even taken place. For starters, the ones who put the beating on you didn't even find it noteworthy enough to publicize. We have a Second Sight of your BP's at 14BP's, with 10 BP's being the generally accepted number since SoTu's do not do damage to pires with less than that. Then we have an alleged claim that your BP's were at 2 BP's. But if those missing BP's were due to being bitten then it is still not a kill in any way shape or form. Otherwise we would have casualties more than could be read in any given day. Kaelani, if you are going to write an article of someone becoming a casualty, then you need to do a better job of presenting some sort of evidence. This is just sloppy. Now Jair, Don't take this the wrong way, but chances are that the beating you received was well deserved. But I will not state it as fact. Just take your beat down as a lesson to learn. Whatever you did to piss off the Dumonts... Don't do it again.

Ok, I'm not going to bother quoting all the various blurbs that I'm going to respond to here.
Petit: I think I love you.
Vex: relax some hun, you probably need it with the headache you must have from this.
Jair: Being mouthy is going to get you continually squished. It's a bad idea in general, but I blame your sire for not teaching you that straight on. Secondly, chasing hunters with little to no blood and little movement capability is useless. Perhaps you should think about drinking from regular humans and then buying Thievery. And thirdly, your argument about 10 pint living is a little flawed. 10 pints of blood is what the average human being holds in their bodies, now, for Celerity and the increased strength of a kindred, we require more blood to move about and do things like that. Rel, I believe, was also commenting on the sudden drop of alot of your blood should be enough to make you dizzy and light headed, which is a common result of battle. Hope the flakiness of your skin heals well.
