Anyone who's read the Obituaries has quite possibly seen the announcement about RoR (and Company) with Lord Oblivion taking the kill shot zeroing Spensor Haze for any number of personal and business-related reasons. Spensor had been slated to remove himself from torpor tomorrow, Sunday August 17th, and rejoin the ranks of the undead.
Damari, in Spensor's obituary, stated that, "See you in two weeks. Might as well not necro. It’d be a waste of coin.
And just because I figure the little snot head might try to clan up in Torpor. This is public acknowledgement of my claim on him before new familial or clan ties bind him. My blood is first blood and I call it."
Damari had planned to zero Spensor for hiding behind a pen name while employed at BCIN in order to announce her binding-- something that she has said she would have announced if she wanted to public to know.
However, this morning I received an envelope containing some very interesting paperwork.
It seems RavenBlack is running some sort of Witness Protection program, which, before today he has said he would never do. Often when vampires apply for a legal name change, RavenBlack will refuse to do it if said vampire is running from retribution. Could it be that Spensor did not make RavenBlack aware of his impending doom?
Unfortunately for Spensor (and admittedly fortunate for his future killers) RavenBlack was made aware of the situation by an anonymous source (that wasn't me, I just report this shit) and has provided the source with his new moniker. This was in turn provided to me.
The following is a copy of Spensor's City identification card ((read:SS)) from August 11th, before he severed his childe Abi Ross.
The vampire Spensor Haze has drunk 377 pints of blood.

Today, RavenBlack has revealed his new identity by sending a photocopy of Spensor's new City ID card.
The vampire Edan has drunk 788 pints of blood.

Location: Zebra and 61st

It would appear that Spensor is hiding from what he knows will come. He severed his only childe so that he would be almost untraceable, if only by DNA. He changed his legal name, his appearance, quite possibly even his cell phone number. (This has yet to be confirmed, as I am still trying to contact the man.) I hate to leave my readers with unanswered questions, but Spensor or "Edan" as of yet has been near impossible to communicate with.
In part two of this investigation, provided I can speak to Spensor, I hope to reveal his motives behind the name change and severance, and hopefully gain a statement as to what he believed would happen at the completion of this ruse.
Please keep in mind that the assumptions of myself and my source as to Spensor's motives are alleged and cannot be confirmed until I get into contact with him. Stay tuned for more (if you actually give a shit.)
