| The Good...
|
- Wise [having the power of discerning and judging properly as to what is true or right; possessing discernment, judgment, or discretion.]
- graceful, [characterized by elegance or beauty of form, manner, movement, or speech; elegant]
- soft-spoken,[(of words) softly or mildly spoken; persuasive.]
- elegant, [tastefully fine or luxurious in dress, style, design, etc.: ]
- sensual, [arousing or exciting the senses or appetites.]
- calm, [without rough motion; still or nearly still: ]
- strong,[aggressive; willful]
- caring,
- responsible,[answerable or accountable, as for something within one's power, control, or management ]
- independent [not influenced or controlled by others in matters of opinion, conduct, etc.;]
- intelligent [displaying or characterized by quickness of understanding, sound thought, or good judgment:]
- romantic[imbued with or dominated by idealism, a desire for adventure, chivalry, etc.]
And the Bad... - self-doubting [lack of confidence in the reliability of one's own motives, personality, thought, etc.]
[/li][li] stubborn,[ unreasonably obstinate; obstinately unmoving ][/li][li] emotional,[showing or revealing very strong emotions][/li][li] bitter,[resentful or cynical][/li][li] slow to trust, [slow to confide][/li][li] occasionally snobbish[condescending, patronizing, or socially exclusive;][/li][li] romantic[imbued with or dominated by idealism, a desire for adventure, chivalry, etc.][/li][/ul] Greatest joy in life: Shopping and learning.Greatest fear: To be alone for the rest of eternity. Biggest regret: Her biggest regret may be falling into the charms of her now ex-husband, Lukas. She didn't go with her first instinct, which was to continue to ignore him in college. But the man pulled out all the stops to get her. And that, she could not look over...well, any longer.Minor regret: She fell apart in high school. She wasn't getting into fights like she used to. Nor did her rebellion come through her school work. Her rebellion was quite in secret. All she can say is that, she wished she'd waited. Biggest accomplishment: Her biggest accomplishment was getting into college and managing to succeed in everything she put her effort in. Some majors were harder than others, but she continued to do so. Education was important and she took it seriously. Her happiness comes from knowing her mother is very proud of her, as well as her father. Minor accomplishment: Once out of college, though she was swept into marriage, she didn't give up on being an independant woman. And that was accomplished through the fact she was able to get a job as an International Translator, traveling the world with her boss and collegues. Past Failure: Most do not know the real reason to her divorce with Lukas. Her making money did fuel the bitter root that had been growing between them. But it was the failure to produce a child of their own that tore them apart in the end.Conceivement did happen a few times but they ended in miscarriages. She couldn't stand the look of regret and disappointment Lukas would give her after each failed attempt. [/blockquote]

Damiana was born to an Italian woman named Rosina, who was nineteen at the time. Her biological father was never in her life. It wasn't even for sure if the man knew he had a child. Her mother had met him during a concert, thus; she was was an accidental conceivement. By the time she was born, her mother had already been dating a man named Darrell, a black man that worked as a telemarketer. Darrell had always wanted a child of his own and though Damiana wasn't his, he put his name down as her father on her birth certificate. And when she was a month old, her parents eloped at a nearby court. She was a Daddy's girl from the start. She did everything to please Darrell and to make sure he never regretted taking her as his child. She never fought her mother for the attention of the man for they both were equally showered with love by him. He even went back to college to finish his business degree. He wanted to be able to give his "Queen" and " Princess" everything their hearts desired. Though, Damiana wasn't the typical Princess. She was the only child of the pair and she would always ask her father why her mother and him have a boy. He would tell the girl that she was just perfect for him. Though Damiana liked playing with dolls, she loved to be outside with the boys playing football in the street, which earned her the name,"Tiger" When football season was on, she would perch herself on her father's lap and quietly watch the games for however long they were. Her fondest memory was when Darrell took her to go see the New York Giants play the Dallas Cowboys. Even though she was a Daddy's girl, she still loved to be in the presence of her mother. She would sit and just watch her mother apply make up and do her hair. Her mother would always tell her about her life and what it was like to be her age back in the day. Her mother always told her to get her education so that she could be independent and make her own money. She learned a lot from the woman before her death from ovarian cancer when Damiana was eleven. She took it quite hard. Age 13 to 18: It was hard coming into womanhood without the guidance of a mother. Darrell tried his best to play mother and father to the teenaged Damiana. And she knew he was trying and she made ever effort to portray herself as fine. She picked up doing the housework after she finished her homework. In school, she made sure to never make below a B in any of her classes. She was class president in 9th, 11th, and 12th grade. She played Volleyball since 9th grade and was on the Varsity team by her 11th grade year. On the outside, Damiana looked fine but she was sinking into the depths of depression each passing day. She tried to fight the loneliness of not having a mother by feeling the void with sex. She wanted it when she wanted it and she didn't care if the other didn't. But even that didn't make things feel better or complete. Damiana graduated at the top of her class as Valedictorian and was accepted into the University of New York one a full ride. Age: 18 to 24: She always kept in mind what her mother had said about education. She went to college to do a double major in Business and Spanish. She always was completing her minors in Italian and Computer Networking. During her time at UVA, she met a young man by the name of Lukas Nouveau. At first, she didn't like the other. She found him attractive but couldn't get pass to annoyingness of his know-it-all conduct. He had liked her at first sight, trying everything to get her attention and was very persistent in his want to take her out on a date. After a year or so, she finally agreed to it. And they were inseparable from that time on. Age 25 to 31: Things had been rough since graduating from Grad school and marrying Lukas. Each were trying to kick start their careers while trying to have a family of their own. But with not much luck. It seemed like they could never get lucky and conceive a child when they wanted to. And when they did, it always ended up in a miscarriage. They were fighting much more, unable to communicate their feelings and frustrations as they had been able to when they were dating. Things seemed calm down once the two were able to find a job. But the arguing soon picked back up once it was known that Damiana was making more money than Lukas. They tried to keep their fighting a secret from their families, wanting everyone to think they were okay. When clearly they weren't. Divorce. It came as a shock to their families but it was a long time coming. Lukas was growing frustrated and violent due to the fact they were unable to conceive a child and the fact Damiana was making more money than him. They had been separated in their on home for months, arguing in their home every day about who gets what in the home. Her husband hadn't been happy with the clear fact she bought most of the things in the home. Hell, she bought the home. When she had left the home that sunday night, she had packed everything in her closet into a multitude of suitcases and boxes, loading them into a trailer attached to her vehicle before she got into her silver SUV and just began to drive.[/blockquote]

- Rosina Ambra Mancini-Jones-
Relationship: Mother, Deceased.
Everything about her mother was beautiful. Even as she was dying of cancer, the inner beauty of the woman shined through. Though her time with her mother wasn't as long as she wanted, Damiana learned a lot even at a young age. How a woman should carry herself. The woman instilled in her the importance of going to college. For the woman didn't attend college and wanted her daughter to know that education would make her independent. Which would get her far in life.

|
-Darrell Khalil Jones-
Relationship: Father.
As far as Damiana knows, Darrell is the only father she's known and will ever know. Though, they were not biologically connected, she felt the love was ran deeper than a strand of DNA. He had always been there for her. Even when her mother, his wife, passed away, the man did everything he could to be the mother and the father to the young woman. He was encouraging when he needed to be, strict when he had to be. But all and all, the man gave her a good life. And was an amazing father to her. He never took another wife, for he felt his true soul mate was gone and could not be replaced. Even to this day, Damiana keeps in touch with her father, though he still does not know the changes she's gone through.

|
-Lukas Mitchell Nouveau-
Relationship: Ex-husband.
At times, when she thinks about Lukas, she wished she wouldn't have given in to his charm back in college. Yes, she did think he was annoying and arrogant despite how attractive he was. But his pursuit of her sort of brought her around. She was flattered to say the least. He was the ideal boyfriend, despite the few arguments they did have. He was respectful. He was mindful of her feelings. He showered her with love and affection. He was everything she wanted and more, so she believed. But once they were married and seemed to have change. Both desired children but for some reason, they were unable to conceive. He wanted a boy. He wanted someone to carry own the name. Stresses of job hunting bore down on their marriage as well. Lukas always thought of himself as the alpha male. That with Damiana's independent behavior, gave out a lot more arguments than normal. For a long time, they hid their failing marriage. Sleeping in different rooms. Not talking for days at a time. It came as shock that they divorced. Rather than go through a long court battle, she gave him everything and took the things she needed. Not a word has been spoken to her by him since she left nearly a year ago.

|
-Nephriel de laFronde-
Relationship: Great Friend.
It had been rather interesting how the petite woman met the taller blonde male. He had just gotten coffee spilt on his cashmere sweater. And Damiana came to his rescue to get the stain out as best she could. And since then, she could easily say Nephriel is her friend. Other than their common sense of style, their minds are sort of alike at times. She knows that if she ever needed someone to talk to her, Neprhiel would be there for her because that's the type of male he is. And he is quite the charmer.
|

|
-Kaelani Dumont-
Relationship: Great Friend.
Kaelani is Damiana's shopping buddy blooming into becoming her best friend. The woman was quite the lady and gave her advice when she needed it. Always quick to jump in and help her out, along with Nephriel. Often they enjoy cigarettes together, conversing about anything and everything possible. It is because of her and Nephriel that Damiana will be moving into a bigger apartment in the future.
|

|
-Lyric-
Relationship: Great Friend.
Lyric was the first vampire she encountered in the city after her turning. Right off the bat, the woman was helpful, teaching her a small bit about what life was like as a vampire. She revealed things to the woman that she possibly wouldn't have learned from the movies she watched and the books she read. The women were instant friends, respecting each other was not a problem between them. She does wish she got the see the woman more than she does. But when they do meet, their growing friendship never misses a beat.
|

|
-King Lestat-
Relationship: Friend.
Damiana first met Lestat through his wife, Lyric. And she quickly grew to like him. Something about his wittiness never ceases to amaze her or make her laugh. Though they do not talk much at all. She knows there is potential in finding a great friendship from him.
