She was a new one, a younging to this City of RavenBlack. Though, she had been a vampire for 66 years, it did not matter here. The people did not care to watch their ways and swiftly made their way back and forth on the streets. The smell of humans was so strong in her nostrils, and there were -so- many. Better yet, there were tiny creatures skittering on the ground. Bugs. A cheshire smile graced her lips and she found herself quite pleased with the new surroundings.
"Now what.." Almost immediately as this was spoken, her stomach growled a low sound. Though knowing no one heard, a blush still brushed her strictly porcelain cheeks. Glancing around, she caught a human alone and walking in a different direction than others. She couldn't help but to snicker at the stupidity of these ones. How lucky.
Elegantly creeping up on the young adult of a male, her petite hands lingered into the shaggy locks of his. Fingertips giving the smallest of massages to the scalp before her hands surfaced each side of his head. Then, in one quick motion, her nails elongated and dug into his temples and twisted his neck until a loud 'CRACK' sounded. Even so, it echoed. What delight.
She let the human drop to the ground and crouched down low, sure not the ruin her cinched-waist dress like jacket, like one you would find in the 1940's. It was white, and prone to get dirt on it. Or blood. Her long nails began scraping along the skin of his neck, like peeling away an outer shell. Once the organ was out of the way, she ripped a few veins in half and lowered her mouth to drain the amount of blood she could. One pint, that was more than she had ever had. Always having to scrounge on what was left beyond this city, this was almost paradise.
When she finished her meal, and found herself growing tired, she walked herself down an alley and took a seat on the harsh, cold concrete. She felt more full than ever before, and has hoped this feeling would not falter any time soon. A few bugs skittered around and she picked a Wolf Spider out of the few, one of her favorite kinds. She tore the legs off one by one and faintly heard the creatures pain, a small smile set on her blood red lips. Then, she popped it in her mouth and began to chew. Oh, those magnificent juices and the loud crunch, it was so pleasing to her. She swallowed.
Dolly closed her eyes and began drifting into a beautiful sleep, with a beautifully full belly, in a disgustingly grotesque area of the city.
She found herself, home sweet homeless.
