STORY TIME OF MY GOOD DAY!!
I told myself I was going to go to the computer lab at 9:00 this morning to type up my Professional Portfolio/Final Exam, but then I wasn't feeling up to it, so I told myself I'll just go at 10:00 (I hadn't even started on the Portfolio/Exam until today and it was due at 12 noon). Well, when my laptop decided to turn ITSELF off at 8:58, I took that as a sign that I should in fact leave at 9:00.
I get to the lab around 9:05 and finish my project at 11:30 with 30 minutes to spare, so I kind of added a few marker decorations to the portfolio. I got to my teacher's office around 12:10 and it only took him 10-15 minutes to look through my portfolio. (I was kind of mad that I spent two and a half hours on this binder and it only took him 10 minutes to go through it.)
When he told me I could leave without telling me my grade, I started to wonder "Okay, I shouldn't procrastinate again, because I just got a bad grade." BUT!! I went on the school's Blackboard website to see if he posted my grade and what do I get? 50/50. This made me extremely happy, seeing as with the procrastination, I couldn't get the three teacher references that I needed and I didn't even have a resume (granted, I told him I've never had a job before, so he let the resume slide.)
But, anyway! Two and a half hours on a project that was supposed to take us two weeks to make and I got a 100. Remember, this was ALSO my FINAL EXAM! So, I should have taken this more seriously than I did, but still... Whoever said procrastination won't get you good grades surely hasn't met the mast-uh that is Shai.
</story time>
edit = forgot to add "get" in "get the three"

Congrats!! Grading seems so whimsical at times. 'Specially in creative writing classes. I swear there were stories I edited and rewrote for weeks that I got C-ish grades on, and then stories I jotted down in one night that earned me an A <.<
edited because I have lost the ability to spell. Maybe those writing classes were good for something... >.>

Thank you! I now have an overall 91% in that class. :] But now I have three essays to write and turn to my English professor before 6:00 tonight, sooo... *goes to get busy. But, plays The Sims 2 first for a bit.* >.>

People proving that having a degree in something means absolutely squat... but it explains the piss-poor attitude and obvious jealousy...

I don't suppose you could clarify a little more? This is the Life is Beautiful thread. Not the stalk Jace and harp on him thread. I don't really feel the need to clarify the post; it speaks for itself... But since you asked so nicely and it's still highly amusing... You posting that banner absolutely made my day. You wasted however many years of your life getting a degree and I'm better than you. I'm self-taught. Of course you're going to be a bit resentful of that... jeal⋅ous⋅y –noun, plural -ous⋅ies for 4. 1. jealous resentment against a rival, a person enjoying success or advantage, etc., or against another's success or advantage itself. 2. mental uneasiness from suspicion or fear of rivalry, unfaithfulness, etc., as in love or aims. 3. vigilance in maintaining or guarding something. 4. a jealous feeling, disposition, state, or mood. Really doesn't excuse your general attitude, though. Any further comments can be taken to the appropriate thread or PM so as not to disturb the original intention of this thread. I <3 yogurt and fruit... together. It's like heaven in the mouth.

Fresh strawberries with strawberry yoghurt.
Or fresh strawberries, sprinkled with sugar and lemon juice then eaten with whipped cream. OMG. Heaven.
I can't wait for summer now! ._____.
