This is his new money making scheme. RB's gotta pay for Christmas somehow. Well, if RB would actually DO SOMETHING to keep interest in the game such as a new power or weapon or something occasionally, I doubt any of us would balk (much) if he asked for a token of monetary support. He is just resorting to the lazy way to make money here. Extortion: plan and simple. I saw the words 'red flags' earlier and it amazes me how limited his system can be at times yet detailed the next. If he can follow the trail his 'red flags' are showing him he would know if cheating was actually going on or not. But no, far easier to lash out at the players wallet because we have all proven we will pay. Easy money.

You think if we make a petition of something new we want to see in the grid RB would consider it?

short answer: no
Longer answer: High Council did this and it was rebuked.

I'm actually surprised RB hasn't devised something sooner with this game to suck out more monetary gains from the players. I feel he'd make much more money, plus I feel a number of players would "buy into" whatever he's "selling"....Or in this case, a new power or weapon or feature.....SOMETHING! I dunno...would this be something the members of the High Council could revisit him with? I know several of the more senior players here have some pull with him......Wouldn't hurt to be persistent with him, eh? BTW....does anyone know if Miyu is still around or available these days? I missed the Memo if there was one.

has anyone ever thought of actually not cheating in general? i mean if you know it's against his rules to say delete the cookies to get more moves, when perhaps you shouldn't do it?

Well, in a way I agree, but usually, when there's a sentence, there's a law that states the sentence. A public law.
RB has never clearly and publicly stated that having several undonated alts was forbidden, as he did state that pooling resources was.
We can respect rules that are clearly stated. Not the more shadowy ones that comeout when he needs money.

He refuses to do anything additional (worthwhile) for the game and refuses to listen to any suggestions. I was part of the High Council and so was Miyu. Every time we voted on anything, she clicked the 'no' options, so when the things that passed us went on up towards RB-who was waiting for them? Sometimes I wonder if he ever saw half the stuff we proposed.
But to my friend 'puddleboy' and his suggestion above, the problem is one must wonder what exactly is cheating now. Seems people are getting the whammy just for being in game sometimes. I think the majority of us all do try to keep in the general rules, but that does not stop some from ending up zapped anyways. Yes, I am suggesting that not everyone who gets zapped for cheating are actually cheating.
*sings* money,money,money....

short answer: no Longer answer: High Council did this and it was rebuked. Longer answer wins. It became futile to even do anything with the High Council because it was hours of work for stuff where even if he did implement it in game, he did it the opposite of what was asked and created even more drama than before (ex. battlecloak). It just became not worth Siddy or my time, really.

This is an anti-bot and anti-cheat protectionFor normal use you shouldn't have to do this more than once - it will only happen if you change computers or clear your cookies. Repeated occurrence will make the process increasingly awkward.
It states quite clearly that it is anti bot and anti cheat. He didn't state that he would delete folks and what not but its out there quite clearly

I agree. It's written, or hinted at in several places.
It's just not clearly stated, and certainly not asociated with the other offenses that get one deleted such as pooling resources or attacking a same target with several vampires.
The one that puzzles me is the ones about having no more than 4 unpaid alts. I someone respects the 250 hits/day, why can't they? That 4 undonated alts/person rule certainly I haven't seen written anywhere.
But it's his game ultimately...

Any of the older players recall when it was just 120 page hits per day instead of the 220 of today? >.>
I'm pretty sure the bypassing the page limits has been part of punishments dealt by RB for around 2 years. Least from what I've seen.
Good luck Minna.
