Ok, so if any one of you have read the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson, you might've heard that there should be a movie for it in the future. Well today I was watching fanmade trailers for the possible Maximum Ride movie because I was really bored, and that's when I lost it.
Under one of the user's video descriptions, the person had written that Hardwicke (Whoever that is) might make Kristen Stewart Max and Robert Pattinson Fang. What. The. Heck?!
I personally think the Twilight actors should do us all a favor and stick to their own movies instead of ruining another series.
What's your opinion on this situation?

Well I won't pretend I know anything about that book series. But I will say, good luck to em as the Twilight series is probably going to typecast them. Anybody who sees a movie with the two of them in it again will (likely) immediately think "Hey Edward, Bella, what you doin in NYC?!" or what have you.
...That said, Leo Dicaprio and Kate Winslet were able to escape their Titanic past (pun intended) to create a new movie together last year I think, and it did pretty well. But then, Leo and Kate are actually good actors.
Is it just me or does that Kristen chick sound/act the same in every movie she's been in?

Well I won't pretend I know anything about that book series. It's ok. I appreciate your honesty. X) Is it just me or does that Kristen chick sound/act the same in every movie she's been in? Well, I've only seen her in Twilight so I wouldn't know. But it sounds believable to me. Maximum Ride is a good series, even though I'm only halfway through and have heard the last two books weren't that great. James Patterson is a good writer (In my opinion) and it's a series I'd recommend. (But don't yell at me if it's not your taste. XP)

She was also in a horror movie a few years back... The Messengers.

I looooved the first Max book when I read it a bazillion years ago when I was young (lawl). The newer ones are kinda iffy... the shockingly, oh-so-useful abilities piss me off, though. He shoulda left it alone with bird kids. Giant mutated blobs with feelings need not have applied. But if they cast him and her as Max and Fang, I will be very angry. Fang is cool. Bobby is not. Looks-wise, Kirsten could pull off Max, but she's too bad an actress to pull off the attitude.

She speaks in a monotone most of the time and doesn't show a lot of emotion. *Was actually discussing this during Ruthless: The Musical auditions earlier...* As for the issue at hand. One word, two letters. EW! However... the people also said that Steven Strait was going to play Jacob in the Twilight Saga... so <.< Tasha, love, don't believe it. x:

Although, I definetely agree that Kristen doesn't have the talent to successfully pull off Max's personality, just like Rob isn't cool enough to be Fang. As for the issue at hand. One word, two letters. EW! However... the people also said that Steven Strait was going to play Jacob in the Twilight Saga... so <.< Tasha, love, don't believe it. x: I know! As I said on facebook, the idea's gagworthy. And I'll try not to, but that doesn't mean the idea of those two being in the MR movie doesn't disgust me. >.<

You obviously haven't got to the part where they all can miraculously breathe underwater!

James Patterson has always been on the top of the author's list for me...and I think casting Morgan Freeman for Alex Cross (Kiss the Girls & Along Came a Spider) couldn't have been more perfect. While the movie wasn't near as good as the book, of course...I couldn't have pictured anyone else in that role.
With that in mind- I would wager that he wouldn't allow anything less than the best take the roles in Maxim Series, either...so don't stress too much. Kristen Stewart just seems too bland in my opinion to take on a role such as Max. I don't think she will give it the kind of life Patterson would want. I also don't see him casting someone thats right smack in the middle of an entire other series being played out- that would seriously cast a shadow on Maximum.

Sorry, shoulda put something like ZOMG SPOILER ALERT there, but... no, not all of them. Just the ones that need it.
But srsly. Bird DNA + Human DNA = fish?
I loved those books, but... uh... that's like Twilight's "you mate something with 23 pairs chromosomes to something with 25 pairs chromosomes and you get something with 24 pairs of chromosomes!" No. You mate two things with different sets of chromosomes you either get a) NOTHING or b) something WITHOUT reproductive organs.

It's all right. I was going to read it eventually, so spoilers don't really bother me. XD
Speaking of fish, I've actually made a sea-creature-like OC for Maximum Ride in a stroy. A character that knew Ari before he became an Eraser (because I simply adore Ari and believe he deserved at least one good friend). I'd like to think it's half decent, but I haven't updated in a while because I've been sick.
And yeah, I know what you mean. That kind of made me stare at the book and go, "WTF?".
