I find it SO interesting how the so-called 'god' RB can track coins back to infinity, but if you question the validity of being hit in battle (ie: was it a main and a thrall attack) he is unable to answer that question. Pretty limited for a god, I must say. I've never seen him not be able to answer the question. Unless the vampire breaks the golden rule and MOVES after being hit by a main and suspected thrall.

ooc-ic. same damn diff. he can track coin exchanges back to 2004 but not one holy water. there is no profit for him to track attacks, but plenty in tracking things he can nail people for for cash. simple. There's no profit? He punishes the players when he finds they've attacked wrongly. And sometimes those players get dfc'd. Which cause them to have to pay to be reinstated.

Yep...karma is a bitch...and I guess all parties involved got a huge dose. Though IMO...2 others deserved it more than Sam and Kim just for being petty. Passing coins is against the rules as is the use of alts...but most of us have done it at some point...so cheering for Mushi getting DFC is a bit hypocritical of some people. Let those without sin cast the first stone...or whatever. What really sucks is that some were DFC just for accepting coins in the past. Guilty by association I guess? Another lesson to be learned here is... if you're going to try and get someone's pire deleted...ya better make sure your record is squeaky clean. Yeah...the players behind Brutus and Rose got Mushi smited...but ended up screwing themselves and others as well. WTF was the point of it all? So Musi and Samantha are broke now...but so are other pires who have either given or accepted coins from Brutus and Rose. And if anyone thought that the alt issue (that so many have bitched about) was going to be dealt with...well from what Sam said in Samantha's DFC thread... Yes it's a shame that the 3 new functional items and updates I was saving for to add to the city as a xmas present to everyone will have to be spent on restoring thralls and my main as well as the 6 new items for our shop. 2 scroll type items, 1 posion and 6 gifts. So yeah... WTG...great job!

Rolling your eyes that he's spending his own money on the sustaining of his own characters, so when he puts his own money into the game to make it more enjoyable for the rest of us he'll be able to enjoy it too? Oh yes, heaven forbid. How inconsiderate of him.

I think she was rolling her eyes at those that reported him, and in turn got their own vamps deleted. People are pleased that the alts were deleted, and all the alts will be back shortly.
Also does anyone know if you can donate to get someone else's vamp un-DFC? Willhelm is still marked as deleted.

Yes I was rolling my eyes at those who reported him. I have no issues with Sam. I'm glad he has the money to resurrect his main character and alts. I'm glad he has the money to invest in the game to make it more enjoyable for himself and the rest of us. Some of you may not like how Sam plays his game...but to try and screw him over in RL is just low.

How on earth does someone reporting someone else for cheating, investigation ensues and it is decided that yeah, it IS bad and then punish the player screwing someone over in real life? That makes zero sense.
I personally hate to see this kind of thing happen. It's always ...well it used to be quite sad for this to happen to someone, but unfortunately it's the prevalent way that people play the game, thus the natural course of things.
PS- That comment was not, however others may wish to interpret it, by any means cheering on what has occurred with both characters (Mushi and Wife).

Well the way I see it...if you report someone for cheating... it's a personal thing. Genevive's been hit at the same time by pires who share ID bracelets and she's been attacked by thralls... but I never went and reported it to Raven Black because this is a flippin game and it didn't affect my RL. To me it seems like a personal attack on Sam.

THANK YOU! No one else besides me wonders why his system is so limited that you have to stand there and take abuse while he gets around to seeing if it indeed was an main/alt attack and the success of the checking involves you standing in one spot, but coin exchanges can be tracked no matter if you have moved a thousand times after the fact? Sorry, to me that entire situation is totally bullshit on somebody's part and it ain't us.

But in the instance where folks want instant gratification, such as in a suspicious attack, why should he HAVE to take more time and effort to track things when its just as simple to state: Stay put.
Because let's face it, when it comes to actual attacks and questionable vampires, almost EVERYONE wants instant answers and consequences. So yeah, telling the players to not move their vampires makes perfect sense.

Also does anyone know if you can donate to get someone else's vamp un-DFC? Willhelm is still marked as deleted. Yes, But said person has to talk to RB and send him a letter basically saying "I won't do it again." If he can't get a hold of Willhelm, It wont matter if you donate for him.

To me it seems like a personal attack on Sam. If you attack my character with yourself and one of your thralls, I would report it. That's not a personal thing. That's a CHEATING thing. It certainly wouldn't be because this game has a huge impact on my real life. However, if someone is reporting another maliciously, as I asked Raven about this, if it can, it WILL come back to haunt the one reporting. PS- 'you' is not a you in specific but in general just to clarify

I think Wilhelm would be a special case. Not to be flippant, but there's a good and obvious reason why he won't do it again. I'd write RB.

Well the way I see it...if you report someone for cheating... it's a personal thing. I have a question for you. If you see someone cheating, why would you NOT report it? Unless you really like the person that cheated and you want to help cover their ass. It's like seeing a robbery go down where you don't call the police despite being given ample opportunity. If it's wrong, something should be said. If it's wrong it shouldn't happen and the one causing the wrongdoing should face at least some sort of justice. Sure, there may be extenuating circumstances at times, but it's doubtful.

I wouldn't go so far as to compare it to witnessing a robbery and not reporting it...but I get your point.
