I'm tired of seeing old posts, from like six months (or later) being reopened because someone didn't get to post in it while it was new. We've all seen those "Did this thread really have been to be reopened?" posts after someone had commented late.
So, here's a poll to see how everyone feels about it.. just wanna see if I'm alone here or not..
Rules ::
1 vote per user. The results will be shown after you've voted. The poll will automatically be locked after thirty days (1 month). You're able to change your vote, in case you've chosen the wrong one by accident.

And because I wanted to vote, I'll start it off with a:
YES PLEASE! ;D

Well, thanks for jumping the gun!
Staff and I are developing a rule as we speak (and as I JUST stated not that long ago) where we'll be moving threads 3 months or older to a Bite "graveyard" where they can be accessed by those who want to read old news without commenting on it, so that the current news can be more available.
If you had actually read what I'd said, where I said "this is why there's going to be a rule about this" the poll would be completely un-necessary.

This may be asking for a bit to much but what do you think about digging up some even older news (pre-bite), from the available archivies and adding it to this bite graveyard as well? With their respective credits of course, maybe some sections below all the bite material, or at least a links section that would lead to said archives... all just ideas that came to me as I typed.
I guess what I'm getting at is a general news graveyard <.<

A "Graveyard" is an interesting idea but it sounds like a lot more work. Wouldn't it just be easier to lock old topics and leave them in the section they were originally in?

Also, if threads change location, wouldn't it also change the links? I like to be able to find old threads in case I need to look for something. I voted for No, because it doesn't particularly irk me when old threads are responded to

Making a holding cell for old posts is not hard in my experience, though it might be different here but I don't think it is? >>

The only one I'd personally like to see stay unlocked would be the Partner Bindings section, so all those who've made it a year+ can go back to their thread and say their "happy anniversaries" and what not, but other than that, I voted yes.

*gets another idea*
Perhaps have in either announcements or off topic, an area for Anniversaries. Since I know some like to celebrate their city anniversaries to. Could also contain all those engagement announcements and other random stuff like that?

Honestly, I ignore a lot of what Coquette says, if it was said 'IC'. I also ignore a lot of the OOC section if I don't feel like reading it. Sorry. Besides, something that shows you what your readers and users like/want is n e v e r unnecessary.

Isn't that stating the obvious?
Sorry but Coqi is a pretty damn good admin. Hell she considers reader opinions before her own.

Hey, I never said that Coquette/Sirena isn't; in fact, quite the contrary. Its why I no longer view the other two papers/news forums for RavenBlack. I posted this not for my only for my own enjoyment but also so that the staff can read what others think. Oh and Sirena, I seen where you posted the "new rule" thing you were talking about. I didn't see that before posting this poll. I posted this right after I seen the thread was opened and didn't go back until you had said something. I apologize if I stepped over my bounds.

Or maybe people can learn to read and not reply to threads that are months old and therefore irrelevant. Rendering this entire situation even more irrelevant. Is it too much to hope that people won't do stupid things?

Or maybe just linking to the old papers?
