I've noticed there are a few vampires who have a myspace account. Is it that we are still hanging on to our human behaviors, such as social networking or are some vampires just embracing today's youth's culture?
This made me think of something else. Are the older vampires [200 years and over] clinging to the old days or are you guys just as in touch with the new ways as us youngin's are?
I'm merely curious and think this might prove to be an interesting conversation.

I think that this very well might turn out to be an interesting conversation, indeed, Adeline.
I actually do have a Myspace account. To add to that, I've only been a vampire for two years now, though I have been in this city for much longer.
The original reason I set up the account was so that whenever I was away, as I frequently was, my friends and family would have a way to send me messages, comments, anything to just keep in touch really. AS of late I've gotten to the point where I rarely use my Myspace for anything. Anyone who needs me or has something to say, knows my cell number.
However, I think a lot of the appeal for me was the fact that I have grown up in this younger generation of technology-crazed teens. Let's remember, I'm not hundreds of years old like most of the other 'pires here.

I have a myspace, but its completely out dated and I would not even bother with it anymore even If I thought about it.

Generally speaking, I stick to my old ways. I learnt how to drive a car, and a bike the hard way recently. I can use a computer, but I clearly am no expert. It took me quite a while to become just decent in that area.
I use a cell phone, but not that much.
My space it the place where I live, or put my stuff. I prefer to say my home, though.

Myspazz and Fuckbook are fer 'uman's.
Last I checked we 'pire's were supposed to keep a low profile.. unless ya 'appen to be a character from a jumped up tween romance like Twilight.
And sadly, I don't sparkle nor would I risk me bollocks fer a piece of 'uman arse.
I fink yew dead dudes should be glad that ya get the glory that is me all to yerselves. Gawd I'm one modest bloke ;D

I'd have to agree with Bambi here... as a vampire, I don't want everyone on the internet to know that's what I am. I think this little community and the Bite are all well and good. I have no need to make friends with my food.

had a myspace account for a while, I couldnt much stay interested, so I deleted it. therefore I no longer have an internet blog area, other than the yahoo profile, but I haven't done much with that either...
((and then the friend requests declaring "I'M a REAL vampire, add me!!" icked me out, so... poof... I do have a facebook account though. ))

There is more than just Ravenblack and we should be careful. Personally, I don't have a problem with the idea of a Facebook or Myspace for a vampire, but I wouldn't make one.

About the subject of vampires having MySpace accounts: "A vampire should be a silent predator of the night, not some guy you friend up with on MySpace."
About MySpace being "last decade": "Vampires are behind the times though, they still use MySpace, they read newspapers, they've even got plasma screens, made of real plasma..."

Well, he happens to be the only talkshow host who openly bashes Twilight on a regular basis. Considering my loathing of Twilight, that makes him alright in my book.
