Bump >.>
One thing to keep in mind when voting is that the unmodded chats require SS to get in... so some of the newer players who haven't donated yet wouldn't be able to join.

Additionally, there's plenty of people who are banned from the modded chats, myself included, that might want to participate.
This poll was more than a little premature. There's plenty of other options than the ones listed up there.
Plus, plenty of people are going to vote unmodded because to hell with the serious auction part, the trainwreck that was Chat Auctions was insanely hilarious.

Could you just pee on the whole thing and walk away secure in the knowledge it's your territory? You opened a thread looking for discussion, and all you've done is argue with what you got. You're going to run it with the same gaping problems that it's always had, that people have always pointed out to you, and you've always ignored.

I was talking with a few other players the other day and they agreed with that. No matter what the outcome is the talks on here are, the format of the auction isn't going to change because the staff doesn't want it to change. We'll see what happens, but I'm not optimistic about this poll or the original discussion changing anything.

Matt... I've stated the reasons why the Auction is not to take place in the RB chats. You just chose to ignore it.
Amanda... Other avenue's have been offered and are being explored. If I wasn't opmistic and open to change, I wouldn't be here discussing it now. I wouldn't waste my time in fact so please don't make assumptions based on what you think I, or Kathy might do. It's very unbecoming.
You are however right about one thing though. The outcome will be what the Auction staff decides and when you decide to have your charrie make their own auction, then it will be about what you and your Auction staff decide. Not others, and not the city.
So, we've now determined that the Auctions are not to be held in the RB chats. Any other suggestions? You stated earlier Matt, that there were other options than the one's listed above. If you're serious about adding to the discussions, then please list those options here..

Uh, Mando's not having an auction, thanks... she's been tossing around ideas with others about what would make a good auction and who good people to have on the block would be. If you choose to assume something on that, well, it's very unbecoming.

If I remember correctly, no matter where the live auctions took place, people turned it into a train wreck every time with so much useless chatter that people's bids got overlooked, and staff members got pissed.

<.< Lols, seriously? Does not equate to "Mandolin is making an auciton." It equates to "If your character makes an auction, it will be up to them to make the descisions for it. Thus, calling her words unbecoming is just silly and creates unneeded OOC tension by inciting drama that doesn't have to be present in this thread. If you have so much of a problem with Monica that you have to turn all of her words into an argument, then perhaps you need to take a step back and re-evaluate why you're spending so much time on this type of behaviour. If it's just that you misread, then perhaps you should make sure you know what's being said before assuming you know what's going on. ETA: I'm very sorry for the generally rude tone of this post, but seriously, it's just ridiculous at this point. Trying to drive someone from a game or a news site by stalking them and being incessantly pestering isn't okay in my book no matter what reasons you think there are for it.

Take a look at the bold part, Josh. She said that Mando decided, as in it's already been done. Now I started out on this topic offering suggestions on how to bring back the live auction in a easily controlled environment that would most likely benefit the staff and the slaves. Every single thing that has been suggested so for by everyone has been shot down. That really doesn't make me optimistic about any changes being made, and that feeling is based on what Monica herself has said. It's also fantastically hypocritical of her to say I'm assuming something, say it's unbecoming, and than assume things herself. Now I'm sorry here, but I'm not about to let someone say my actions are unbecoming because they voice an opinion contrary to what she wishes to hear. Read it again,. Josh... and when you're ready to take your foot out of your mouth, let me know. I'm off to see the family. It is a holiday after all >.>

As for what I said in regard to the auctions.. this is what I said.
Sorry, but I don't see anything bolded there for Josh to read. Perhaps it's you who should remove your own foot before making yourself look any more idiotic.Typo edit to remove the letter D from 'decide'

Is it me or is there an extra D causing this fuss? << >> In total seriousness. Majica I think Mando is referring to the Decided bit, where perhaps you simply meant if she ever got her own auction..not that she had her own one. And Mando it could be an honest mistake... Not that I don't love the dueling banjo's but for once it looks like an extra letter is causing silliness

Monica, it's pretty plain that you flopped tense in your statement.
You said Amanda DECIDED to have her charrie make her own auction.. (which is what she's trying to point out) while in the same breath saying it WILL be what her staff decides.
My guess is you typo'd but if you read it literally you did say that she'd already decided (again, past tense) to have Mandolin create an auction.
