Now, seeing as we're not saying there was honor in it either, but she would have to say, rather be known as zeroing and "innocent" who's sire didn't care to protect them or stop it from happening. Then someone who didn't even protect their own family when they did nothing wrong and were indeed an innocent.

Now, Azeara was informed she didn't have to take the Torpor as well even before any of this happened. She was explained what was going to happen, what she could do to stop it and all that would of had to happen was someone to say "please don't take me" in her family but not a single one came to do so. Priss was moments to late, and Maddy didn't even bother until the next day after Priss made her statements about it.

Now last time she (I) checked the only time it really mattered what others think about you is if you're trying to be a big somebody, see the problem with this theory and you thinking that it matters to her (me). Fame has never been one of her (my) goals in this city. Nor will it ever be something that matters to her (me). She's learned that this is something that has been done over and over in history, and it will keep being done.

hehe, i've been following this topic...and it intrigues me

On normal occaisions when a childe is being threatened or held for ransom for a sire's actions, the sire comes to said childe's aide. Its a common tactic. I should know. Its been used with me being the childe being zero'd. But I digress... normal sires would come to help their childe no matter the odds.

But in slow death's case, he sat in shadows whle his childe was zero'd. not only that, he said he didn't care that said childe was being zero'd.

Oh. The. Irony.

Now Gabby (your name takes too much time to spell), as i see it, Slow Death might as well have thrown those HWs. He after all, sat back while his childe was zero'd and did....nothing. Absolutely. Nothing. And yes, because he 'didn't care', Azeara died because of him. Are we not seeing this side of the story because you're friends with him or something? Because I'm failing to see how he's not in the wrong.

I will let it all out in the air, since everyone is wondering about siring you three. A few of the Blackwood's did take interest in the three of you. This is a fact and true. I'll even admit I was one of them. No shame in that.

But if you and your sisters do not see how this whole family concept works, well in reality....you'd probably be severed in a few days time. I, or no Blackwood's like to take in potentials that lack that concept, and walk all over their family members as if they were a meaningless piece of trash.

He knows that by attacking one of us, you attack all of us. Azarea's zeroing was unfortunate but it's a common occurance in warefare in this city. She died because her sire refused to move. That happens in this city and is commonly accepted practice. Justice is any action that gets a desired results to those who have been wronged. It's what happens in this city. In our bloodline we protect our own you attack one of us you attack all of us. That simple. If you can't grasp that you definitely need to go elsewhere for a bloodline because ours won't take you. We take care of our own. I recommend that you spend some more time at this publication and other's like it to get a feel for this said Justice your looking for. You'll find that there is as many types of justice as there are vampires in this city.

there's no fucking justice, there's no trace of honour in such behaviour. It's just being a plain bandwagon bully!
You have a problem with a vampire, you don't go hitting weaker childer, unless you're a gutless waste, which you are allowed to be, though. You settle your problem with said vampire.
There are other ways to make a non-moving coward pire such as Slow Death get out of shadows. Go find someone wise that teaches you blind scrolling for example.

black_dragonet, While your opinion is as valid as the next. I think you missed the point of my statement above. Justice is as diverse in this city as their are vampires. The term Justice is a word to describe a social niche that allows other's to settle a wrong. No society's version of justice is perfect. Neither is any individuals idea of justice. Is a society of canabals a just society? To some no, but to those who are of that society it is a just society. It's all a matter of perspective. As for what is commonly called acceptable in this city. I have said before look around and you will find that our actions aren't beyond the norm for this society of vampires. If you want social reform. I wish the best but don't expect to much. Vampire's are a very social group but independent in their own ideas of what social activity means. When you consider the immortality issue. Social propriety changes from one age to the next in human society. But immortals don't change their core believes so you have giant generation gaps of social inequities.

As for your comment on being a coward. Call me as you will. I don't prescribe to the concepts of honor, ethics nor do I describe myself as a warrior in this city. I am a fool and that title I wear proudly. I'm to old for others beliefs to change my own. I prescribe to the most basic and primitive ideology of what's mine is mine what's yours is yours. Don't mess with mine and I'll leave yours alone. Everything else is trying to enforce social acceptance to fit in. I have no desire to fit in with everyone I meet.
