Honor is one of those things that depend fully on the person in question. Much like Justice your trying to pin the idea that this is what it means to show honor, but the problem with it is everyone shows their own honor in their own ways.
For example; a person grew up believing that killing the slaves when they reached the age of 40 because they've aged and so the work becomes harder than it was when they were younger is something that shows honor to their hard work and wanting to ease their pains and stop their aging which will make things even harder for them in time.
However, another person may see that this is dishonorable, and lacking of honor. So they set their slaves free at the age of 40 so that they can find a place to live in peace for the rest of their days.
Now who's to say that the person who set the slave free didn't end up causing their death in the end because they did set them free? The person older, unable to get work because everyone around them don't want someone who's getting up there in their old age, so they end up in the cold with no roof over there head. In resulting they get a cold, unable to pay for the bills that would help them, they end up dead. While the person who killed their slaves at the age of 40 save the person from dying from a slow and painful death or resulting them into thieves.
Again this is just an example and don't expect people to up and kill someone just because they've gotten up there in age. However, it is an example that one can find honor and dishonor in everything that they do. That it's all how one takes something and how they wish to stand by that.
As for your example of things being for hatred and revenge, one can even claim that the revenge is an act to prove that they still have honor from the wrong that was caused on them or theirs. Hatred is the same thing, they hate someone so in most cases there must be a reason that results in such things.
You can even look into the human world even more so and see that people fight, and kill each other simply over the fact their in another gang or group. You again can not expect that just because we live longer than humans, unable to die in some cases, unless we wish it or Ravenblack throws his hand down and takes us from this world *and even that doesn't seem to always matter now a days* that we are much better than our food supplies which we were in many cases born from.
Now, one can argue that because we don't die, we can of course hit someone with holy water, garlic sprays, scrolls of turnings because of course, we are gone for such a short time and it makes one feel better and can to a point keep the drama of the city down and give the person the feeling that they make get two weeks of peace from the ones they zeroed and sent to torpor but that again isn't always the case and it completely depends on each creature in this city how they wish to do things.
