Oh, and the comments about being ignored cause were old, was a joke. I don't get to call my sister old that often since I'm her elder. I've got to take the digs where I can.

*Rolls his eyes at the pointless banter going on between Daly and Lestat*
Anyway, I was going to say that I found your post to be an interesting read. It really made me think about things. However, I know without a doubt that I'm going anywhere as far as Uriah is concerned. We're forever, yo.
Anyhoo, take care and have fun kiddies.

I would like to point out, however, that one can change lineages without changing sires. A lineage extends past the sire that you keep. My childe EmpressLizard, for instance, underwent each lineage change I did...but she is still my childe. The only thing that changed were those ahead of me on the lineage tree. Well then, after having read this part, I have to admit, I've already went through a lineage change. I honestly wish it would have never happened, but that's just my opinion.
Besides, I think things happen for a reason. And I can't deny that I enjoy being able to look at this every time I log onto RB:You are sire to one other vampire, including: Night Bain (6389 pints) your lineage runs as follows: Uriah (2452), Draconis Novek (12786), Andre (6232), Sartori (22478) and the master vampire On-da-g (28225). ;D Maybe I'm the only one like this, so let me know how you feel. Even though Daly and Michiru are no longer my higher ups in my lineage, I still feel a connection with them, one that I'm not keen on letting fade away. The change of lineage was nothing I had any say in, so I still feel as if they are a part of my family. Close friends at the least.
