If someone hits me and goes to hide in a home that isn't theirs, I'ma find them, and hit them. Probably not inside the house, as respect for the homeowner (nobody likes HW on their carpet) but using someone else's home for protection is about as disgusting as those who knowingly used Wilhelm's vigil to hide from retribution.
If it's their own home, and their name is on the lease, then they'll drop into Shadows and I'd have to scroll them out and hit them. At that point, it really depends to me on the deserving of the vampire in question.
I'll bite people I know in their homes and leave a message to say "Hi." Like a few people have said, if you have a house, you probably have 2 pints to spare for hungry lil me, and I don't hold it against anyone if they bite me while I'm hanging out in someone's home.
As for robbing, most vampires (as far as I'm aware) sleep with a few coins on them in order to avoid being bitten, as most of us are money hungry more than blood-hungry. If that's the case, I don't understand being hit because you robbed someone in their home of a couple of coins. That being said, I personally wouldn't break into someone's house for the express purpose of robbing them, just as I try not to run through people's houses on my way through the City, but if I did stop and pick up a small rob, I wouldn't expect to be hit for it. A house is not a bank, and sitting there with thousands and thousands of coins is ridiculous, but for a few coins? I don't see a Holy Water Shower being relevant in that case, either.

If you don't bank em, the shinies are fair game.
Especially if you're glowing with a yellowish aura that is *twitches* so tempting and *wrings hands* needing to be mine!
If you hit me then you've just waisted more coin in my opinion. I've still got your money *grins* I don't say hi cause, I mean it seems a bit silly to promote the fact that you've just pilfered blood and coinage from some unsuspecting vamp. Although I guess if it's one that I know well, I may mock them for hiding money under a mattress.
I love the fact that nitenurse displaces burglars! HAHAHAHA that's hilarious. Totally serves anyone right, if you're caught stealing you deserve to be thrown across the city....

But if your place is made for resting and you place a sign up that says something specific to not drink/rob from the residence and they still do it anyway, I'd hit them, considering it must be some newly turned kid. *shrugs lightly.* Hitting new kids for something like that would be a complete waste of coins. Like me, I doubt they stop and read the 5,000 word essay the owner's left for strangers to read. Besides, what does the fact that they may or may not be newly turned matter? The sheer FACT that you pointed it out makes you seem like some goddamn elitist, which would be funny seeing as you're young yourself.
.:: EDIT: added more words ::.

View Points: On the "It takes an hour" thing Boomer said.. then why did Remi fall into shadows immediately when I fought her in November? I know it didn't take an hour to reach her house from the HoS. I will scroll you from your house if so need be. Multiple times if you run right back in. I've been known, however, when there is a guest in a home during war, to ask the owner of said home how they'd prefer the conflict to happen. Most usually I displace and tele after them, just so there's no crossfire. However, biting and robbing? If you're visiting a home, maybe you should visit a bank, first.

Interesting because Remi is the one who told me that when I found her visible in her own home.

Don't... Don't you have Shadows if you have a home? You're in effect untouchable from fangs, fingers, or vials. You would have to be scrolled out to just see if you were even yellow. This topic is silly. *points at the subsequent answer by someone else* Perhaps you should consider ensuring you have adequate facts before you call this topic silly? ~HiS~

I used to be a firm believer that one's home should be off limits, at the very least, to attacks. Unfortunately it has become an all too often habit of 'honorable' vampires, so forth and so on-to say 'My home is a war free zone you must not attack me there lest I cry foul' and then be the same vampire that huddles in their homes or those of another like a child being chased down by the boogeyman. Ridiculous really. There are many cases where I will go out of my way to displace a target rather then hitting them within a home, but more often than not the little yellow dipshit is just going to get bitch slapped then and there.
I also understand if I am sleeping within my home during a conflict that I may well get struck in that home.

Obviously, I would not rob or drink someone in their own home... Since I can't. But if one of their guests is a bright shiny yellow? They can expect to find their pockets a little lighter after mah visit The only square I will not bite or rob in, in the City, is the graveyard. Other than that, the rest of the town has always been fair game, and just because houses are becoming more prevalent and more popular now, doesn' mean people should expect to not be robbed in them. As for attacking someone in their home: well, if yer gonna attack them anyway, does it really matter if they're in their home or not? You'll hafta scroll them outta it to HW them anyway... But, when it comes to attacking guests in a home... I suppose I can see how it might offend some people, to have one of their guests HWed (assuming said guest was not already involved in a battle, because if they were, and they're merely trying to hide under someone else's skirts, well... *smirks*). I s'pose I'm biased here. If it was the home of someone I liked/respected, I'd prolly knock first. If it was the home of say, someone I'd like to be HWing as well as their guest, I'd likely not. *shrugs* <.<

In times where I am involved in war, or other conflict where I know I'm a possible target, I don't hang out in my home.
If someone is trying to use my home as a hiding place, I'll kick their asses out, if I'm anywhere in range. As for people randomly scrolling my home, just for shits and giggles, well then, I'm likely to do something about it.
If you catch me with coins on me, my fault for not getting around to banking. That's regardless of being in my home or not.

I like reverting an old phrase in this instance...
'If you're not sure, don't do it."
If I'm not quite sure what will happen if I do it, I don't do it.
I don't lurk in or around other people's houses unless I'm invited. If inhabitants happen to be jingling the coin they left in their pockets, I stuff a sock into the mouth of that greedy little demon in my brain and walk away.
It's not worth all of the 'Zomg! They stole from me in my sanctified home!' Sooo I'm not gonna do it.
However, if the person is involved in a conflict and are slow enough to hide in their house, hoping it'll blow over.... Then it's their own fault for walking in their house, knowing that the people gunning for their demise are going to follow.
Just my thoughts on it.

In our house, we let them stay if they have requested to be a guest, most do, but those who don't are robbed then displaced. Gevurah usually does the honors and leaves them a message as well... Something along the lines of... Hope you enjoyed your stay, the amount you left barely covers the maid for your room. Enjoy your flight!
As far as being bitten or robbed by others in our own house, well if your stupid enough to think being in your house equals depositing in a bank, well... burglars are everywhere! If it isn't in the bank its fair game! *grins* and if you bite me I am ok with that, just remember turn about is fair play and I will get mine back from you. *wicked grin*

Waste of displacements much? *snickers* Totally. I'd never waste scrolls on some random person stopping in my house...
If I had a house.

Bank your coins. Everyone knows that so if you're glowing, you're a bloody beacon and I will rob you.
I feel that during a war, hiding IN a home is not acceptable. I will hit you in your home.
If you have a target in your home, I would notify the owner before scrolling (provided they are not a target).
As for biting and robbing, there are maybe a handful of vamps I just wouldn't do that to cuz its a respect thing for me. Well, biting them is no big deal but ya...a handful I just wouldn't rob.
