*grins* He’s an asshole Scythian. In the best definition of the word and its finest sense. I’m sure he’d appreciate being remembered as such because he had a sense of humour that way.
Yes, he ejected you Pheeps and ejected you stayed. So sad. Join the club. Plus, you just agreed with me *preens* You’re doing that a lot lately. It’s because you’ve come to realize as most reluctantly do, that I’m invariably right.

If you can think of one good reason why we should respect someone who stated he didn't give a damn about the very clan he supposedly built... (when truly it was people like ophelia who contributed the most) .... then I might reconsider the stance. But this is not the place for you telling me I'm wrong or throwing petty insults. Can you think of a better place? As you have no idea what context within which he said it, you are clueless what brought him to say it... very much later and after he had left it officially, and in much heartache. No one there at the time he ran it, at the time he and Ophelia loved it as only parents can love their own child, would question his commitment. While those of us who were there will always have differing opinions on what ended that truly blessed era of the Ferrymen (for instance, Jean's 'commitment' or that the fights with SC were it's inital demise) no one who has even visited the ancient archives of the Ferrymen (now open to the City upon request) would have such a shallow view of the clan you claim to now lead, nor it's founder. It is the reason most of us consider the Ferrymen dead. A name does not a powerful clan make. Much less a recycled name.

Well, and that’s where I disagree with you On. Wholeheartedly disagree.
The Ferrymen aren’t dead at all. They are active and they are plugging away with leaders who still care about what they are, how they are and what they will become.
You too can not negate them just because you feel they aren’t what they were (although granted you’re allowed your opinion on the matter). I feel that if they have the balls and energy to continue striving to better the clan then why the hell shouldn’t they be given that chance?
That said. It’s probably the best thing that’s ever happened in my unlife, being ejected from The Ferrymen. I don’t guess I ever said it publicly before because it stung too much before. But I’m very happy where I am. That doesn’t mean though, that I do not hold affection and some emotiional loyalty to the clan I was once a part of and it shouldn’t. Loyalty shouldn’t have so short a measure.
For any person.
I hope The Ferrymen succeed in whatever they’re doing. I don’t agree with this statement, but hey, what the hell do I know. *grin* I WAS kicked out of the place… so obviously I’m hardly the most unbiased vampire either.

Ohh and Seyda. Honestly, love you. But ophelia left the clan EONS ago. I'm only going to say this once and then leave it to the side. I did not leave the Ferrymen. Lucius ejected me after his unreasonable requests from the Shadow Court Chancellors were not met. And yes, that is an important point to me. Thanks! Having said that, there was absolutely no need for your clan description to say anything about the Lamps or Lucius in this post. You could have, and should probably do a re-do, and simply describe your clan as it stands now and what the goals are, Oh. And just because I can. Fuck Lucius *grins* What?! You folks need to lighten up already. I will take your words under consideration. And yes Ondag I can think of a better place: PMs, or off topic/spam/whathaveyou. This is about plugging the clan, not about arguing about semantics.

It’s because you’ve come to realize as most reluctantly do, that I’m invariably right. *nods* Scythians list of goals: 1. Reach 10,000 blood (Check) 2. J-lo 3. Prove Damari wrong publicly. *grins* I'm waiting for it.

It is the reason most of us consider the Ferrymen dead. A name does not a powerful clan make. Much less a recycled name. Case in point: Clan Capadocious. Any of them, I suppose.

To put out the lamps is one thing but to deny or shun where The Ferrymen have come from is quite another matter. The Ferrymen were known, when I was there, for their rich history which was well documented (if not a little biased) and their ability to adapt as time passed. The creed was at the heart of the clan, not the name but it is the banner under which you stand and you should be proud of everything it stood for past, present and future. I always believed the true strength of The Ferrymen lay in the hearts' of its members and in the Oath to which they all swore but more than that, The Ferrymen's true strength was to not stand apart from it's history but to embrace it, learn from it and move forward stronger than they once were.
It may or may not show within my words. They may or may not be seen in the manner I intend them but this is my view as one who once called The Ferrymen her clan.
