This entire city is a joke. Through all my wanderings in Ravenblack I have yet to find myself in the company of a Vampire. Don't get me wrong, I've seen several valient attempts. Some tired old giants whos often rambling museings often touch on the real Way of the Vampire. But it is only in theory. Nothing more than idle smalltalk and pompus postureing.
..Stories of how it was.
I am in the presence of a city full of witless and gutless bureaucratic vegatables wearing strap-ons for fangs. The vampires way, is very nature is to be free. To take what he wants and kill who he doesn't like. Not taking shelter in stagnant clan walls, motionless all except their mouths.. killing only from saftey and just when it is needed to keep up appearmces.
Since I have been her I have sought out a clan of like minded vampires true to their nature totally without fear or regret. I have found nothing of substance.
I don't blame the city as a whole, just those here who call themselves leaders. The truth is, there are no real leaders here, not that you even deserve a real leader.
That's all.

Quit yer bitching and gtfo or show people 'how it's done', if you're so unfavorably impressed.

Vampires are individual and unique. Not all suffer from bloodlust, not all choose to be rude, not all fight, say or do whatever pops in their head at that particular moment, IE... not everyone is ADHD.
I have to agree with Idony. If you can't find something suited to your liking, then perhaps you should form your own group.

He always does this.
I"m just surprised there's not a "As the only worthy son of Lucius I claim...." statement thrown in there.
Maybe my last reaming of his anal cavity taught him a valuable lesson...

We can only hope Miss Damari...but, knowing his track record...it's highly doubted...even the entrails are laughing at the idea.

...May I butt in and ask who died (no pun intended) and made him expert on this stuff? Seriously.

Perhaps the world isn't how you thought it would be as well Mr. Scythian. I could be wrong, but maybe you could fashion the world to your own imaginings. I heard it was possibly for some vampires.

It sickens me to see the world like this. We are supposed to be higher beings. Does immortality not come with some wisdom, or at least lucid perception?
Apparently not. In fact I've seen that we're nothing better than glorified humans. That pathetic human weakness and ignoriance is magnified in our society. I suppose a sheep with fangs is still a sheep. A shallow mind with telepathy gains no greater depth by emersion in the dark sanguine birth-water that sits cold and stagnant in our veins.
As superior beings shouldn't we hold ourselfs to higher standards? Shouldn't we strive to acend past petty humanic fallacies, and not inturn be nothing more than a sad sarcastic mirrior image of those we call cattle?
Perhaps we are no better by right. A subtle mockery of everything weak and fleeting. Like the humans, we have free will. In every word we speak and every action a choice. But unlike the humans whos ways I so despise... behind our every choice we have the immortality to back it up.
(Sidepoint) And Damari, really. You're just proving my point every time you start rambeling about Lucius. No one brought that up but you. Get over it already.

But unlike the humans whos ways I so despise... behind our every choice we have the immortality to back it up. If you have delusions of superiority, keep on entertaining them. But there's nothing really that says we're "superior" to humans. If you look at it from a certain point of view, we're inferior to them. You throw a bottle of holy water at a human, they'll look at you like you're nuts. Not to mention that they eat garlic for breakfast (well, lunch rather, but the point still stands). And let's not get started on sunlight. Do they turn to ashes in the morning? I think not. We are limited in so many ways: biochemical, emotional, psychological, that the additional powers are just enough to keep us from being truly pathetic. Yeah, we live forever. Big fuckin' hoot. It just means that a rather large amount of idiots are going to be idiots for centuries on end. If immortality brought with it an intellectual enlightenment, that would give us something to pound our proverbial chests with. But as it is? Take your polemic and shove it, Scyth.

Immortality is wasted on beings such as ourselves. As Idony said, so many drawbacks is part of the cost. He wants someone reckless, wild, ready to take on any challenge and not give a damn about anything in the process and still come out the winner, at least that is what I am getting out of this. If immortality and our unique conditions teaches us anything, it should teach us how fragile that gift truly is. There have been a couple like that in this place before, but where are they now? Gone and truly dead-some never to return, and when some have returned, they are hollow shells of what they once were. Riding on a reputation they can no longer back up as they once did. To be such a thing has its risks in the long term of existence, to be sure. So, can you tell us who might have all the parts to be this 'vampire' you seek? Obviously not, so you must be, logically, including yourself in this group of loosers you speak of. Just because someone cries 'hey, something is wrong with this' does not exempt them from the problem they are crying about. So I suggest you find a medium and enjoy a nice cup of tea while they channel the spirits of the legends for you and take all the notes you can and try very hard to become what it is your seeking. Good luck with who you are searching for. I doubt you will find one who can run at maximum and stay on top of it all forever. No one has, not even the legends that fill our history here.

And empty posturing is the refuge of an ignorant jackass. But then again, you who presume to judge others when you're in no position to judge any vampire in this city other than yourself. The city might have become a joke in your eyes, but nothing is a bigger one that yourself these days ~HiS~
